Forget the haters, this is a great album. Not the best Green Day album but better than most CDs that have been released this year (eg Cheryl Cole, X Factor, Robbie etc).

Welcome to UKHD Simon Cowell ;-)

I really like this album and this is a good price, so hot from me.

I loved American Idiot and this one is more of a slow burner. Didn't like it at first but once you've given it a few goes, you feel the love.

(Did help seeing them at The O2 - the tracks work really well live).

Meah, get Warning or Shenanigans.
You mentioned X Factor, Cole etc, well yes I would agree that this album should be considered in the same league as those. It's music that has all been done before by better bands and offers nothing new.
I am a huge Green Day fan, but there is no denying this album is utter b0LL0x.
They should feel utterly ashamed of themselves. I feel embarrassed for them.

I agree to a degree, I love Green Day and I know where you're coming from. I would absolutely love them to do an album of 3 minute punk songs. They could do it no problem. But I disagree about 21st Century, it's not their best but it grows on you, and I like it's sophisticated production, OK it's not punk and I'm a St Patrick's day regular at the Barrowlands in Glasgow for SLF, but really, it's not that bad.
