Been looking for some Cd's for the missus for Xmas and this was in the For Her section for some reason. This is their biggest, and dare I say it, best album and at a stonker of a price!

I don't agree, I think 39/Smooth & Kerplunk! we're easily their best albums

Seen these guys live over 20 times since the mid 90's, miles better live than Offspring, Dexter can't even sing 1 line in tune when they play live!

Only saw them once live @ MEN Arena but they were average tbh...probs having an off day

they were good albums but very rough...think Dookie showed what they were capable of....

Shame cause now there ****

Good link, god I have most of those albums. Those were the days!

wow this album brings back the memories - such upbeat songs about such depressing subjects!

this is a must own album in my opinion (even though I haven't really listened to it for a few years)

This album is one of the greatest ever, its a classic like nevermind and smash.

Good find heat added

ps i love Kerplunk too for a while it was my fave but this album has been more consistently so by that i think its their best

The songs flow together so well. Not many albums do these days. Voted hot

Insomniac is by far their best yet most under rated album

I'd say Insomniac is their 2nd best album. I think because Dookie sold so well (wasn't it like 15 million copies worldwide) a lot of people thought they had sold out and this was a kind of a v sign to those people.

Ah this brings back memories! I saved my poket money to buy it (I was 11) and I've still got it! But now it's scratched and jumps a bit so I'm gonna buy it again thank you

Essential listening indeed! Saw Green day in Sheffield on the Dookie tour. I'm off to put it on now.......... I was alone....I was all by myself..... etc......;-)

BTW- have to agree with other posters about SMASH and The blue album.......AWESOME:w00t:

This was the first CD I ever bought, it's spot on!

My copy is smashed up from being carried to so many parties, holidays and gigs but I'd never replace it.

P.S. There were far better punk bands in the early 90s than The Offspring, NOFX or Weezer.
