These raised beds are ideal for people who only have patios to grow veg. etc. on. Raised beds even on e-bay are around £24.99 plus postage so this is a really good deal. Delivery takes 14-28 days but worth the wait undoubtedly. These raised beds are made of FSC Timber and are stained green.

Good for the planet and economical, if you grow your own, it is a real money saver!

They also have growbag versions in the same size for £3.99 each if you buy 2....

£3.49 delivery!!

Surely they are just8 planks of wood nailed together
Hi there,
They may be planks of wood but they are treated in a special way and they are wood which is from a sustainable source, plus they are in a self assemble kit.. These raised beds are very expensive- I am just converting my patio and was about to pay £115 for 3 of the same thing on e-bay so I was pleased to find this deal, which is why I posted it. We have a really old drab looking patio which hopefully will come alive with vegetables and flowers.....

How much is wood these days?
It would cost about £10 at a diy store so not really a hot deal, cheaper if you went to a builders/ timber merchant

Depends where you get your little blue pills from:p Heat added as these are pressure treated saves me the bother
Forgive my ignorance here, but do they have a bottom or is it just 4 planks?
alternatively nail 4 pieces of treated timber together for about £3

you must have money to burn if you were going to spend that amount on ebay for 3 of them

tek - no base just 4 bits of wood
Reet, no use to me then! Cheers :)
Treated Gravel Board Green Treated (W) 150 x (L) 2400mm

A couple of these would do the same thing .... about £8.38 from Bee and Queue

As pointed out, could possibly get the same for a little cheaper from a local independant timber merchant
Any ideas on where it is cheaper to buy top spoil/compost to fill these? Any advice would be appreciated!
