Yeh good price. Hot from me... although ide prefer a prawn one anyday!
#2
good deal..............hold your nose in the workplace late afternoon.
#3
I wish i could have the sandwich....a chap refused to serve me because "i was black" a few years back. I had a meeting with a director and he though i was overreacting but gave me £20 worth of vouchers in compensation. However, these vouchers are worthless to the ethnic minorities.
#4
hot.. although hot egg mayo sandwiches don't smell too good!
#5
Egg tastes so much better with Salad Cream so why do they persist on using mayo everywhere!!

Nether the less, voted hot.
#6
wow strong fat and sugar intake.
#7
I woz in Greggs yesterday and they were selling for £1.25!!
#8
I think you have to use a voucher...abit of a pain .
#9
I bet it's only available on WHITE bread.
#10
The full price is only £1.25, as I wandered in with my freshly printed voucher only to find none left. Probably costs you more than 25p in ink and paper...
#11
I'm not so keen on their egg mayo since they started lacing it heavily with pepper a few months back. :x

As a slight aside, I used to love Greggs' "Bacon & Egg Whoppers". Then they changed them to baguettes. Then they started putting disgusting relish in (though you had the option to have it without). And now they've started overloading it with pepper... :|

Still - voted hot and rep added, as you can't fall off at the price, even if I don't particularly like what they've started doing to 'em lately!
#12
Egg and mayo make my farts smell.

couldnt you have saved that comment till AFTER lunch :x

:p
#15
It is only 25p. Cold for me.
#16
it's only blooming egg! I'll bet it costs about 5p to make! I'd like to see them doing steak sandwiches for a £1 - then they'd get the customers rolling in.

give it up - I don't see why you need to add this to every Greggs deal?

if you had a true case against Greggs I'm sure you would have taken them to court and this would have been legally resolved.

Egg mayo - Taking the devil's own spooge into your mouth.

Obviously haven't bought any eggs lately?

Actually, that is kind of connected to my question - is it free range? Not a very good deal if it isn't.
#20
cost bout 20p for egg 30p for bread is it such a good deal?

I'm Irish and a Southampton FC supporter and you think you have problems!

Why is this a "limited edition"? It's an egg mayo roll for goodness sake! Is it rare or collectable?
#24
Good deal but what's the "come 'ere" logo all about? Sounds a bit intimidating to me. Like "come 'ere and get yer head kicked in..." Think I'll stick to Subway.

Ummmmm, do you really think they are going to be free range? Obviously you haven't bought any egg sandwiches from a highstreet ****** sandwich chain lately!
#27
I love the "WOW!!!!" in the title, it's like an over-excited eBay listing.
#28
what's so limited edition about it, don't they normally do egg mayo?
#29
Well I for one think its a deal. I bought one yesterday for £1.25 used the voucher today and it only cost me a quid. Bonus :) I know its only egg and mayo, but its not bland like some of the egg mayo's about (i myself do prefer egg n salad cream). It also has fresh tomatoes in it too. It's a french bread roll - not a bad size definitley filling i reckon it a good 10, 11 inch long.

They taste better than the egg n cress that were available in the marks and spencers deal

They're beautiful :) Thanks for the voucher :)
#30
This deal stinks! Like the sandwiches :whistling:

You've got my vote for stupid overreaction of the day.
#33
I'd rather pay the £1.25 as oppose to print the voucher to save 25p i.e. you spend the money on the ink and the paper unless you are lucky enough to sneak a print when the boss ain't looking.

These baguettes are popular where I am, it is never available after 2pm ... I supposed people are no longer spending £4-£5 for lunch, at least on a everyday basis.

#35
I think this is a great deal....heat.

I clearly have missed something here....
#36
Thank you, love eggy baguettes. Wife wont be happy though, once Im inflating the duvet

#37
i much prefer the m and s egg and watercress which is made with free range egg cost £1-25 - £1.50 as some railway stores cost more as they are not run by m and s
#38
Those eggs baguettes are really good, even has tomato slices in them... excellent value for money!! Especially since Pret a Manger and EAT regularly charge £3-£4 a baguette, this saves alot of money.
