Take an overpriced product (the Apple iPhone dock), make it much cheaper, and add a horn-based amplification system that really is effective WITH NO POWER needed. This is what the Griffin Aircurve is. I think it is so good I bought three of them (for different rooms......we have two iPhones in the house). I have one in the kitchen (as a place to keep the phone but also to use as a radio/music player), in the bedroom (for the same reasons as in the kitchen) and also next to my computer in the office (I work from home, and conference calls with this product sound great).

This product is so novel and cheap it deserves awards galore.

There's another seller selling it for £3.99 inc shipping further down the page.

Also note that the iPhone 4 version is still closer to the £20 mark, and that the aircurve is incompatible with iPod Touch

As noted this is only really suitable for iPhone 3G/3GS.

I don't understand because the 3.99 seller is also Grand Gadgets, same as this one. So the same seller seems to be selling the same product twice for different prices.

EDIT: I'm reading the wrong part of the site, im an idiot.

Where? I don't see one anywhere for that price in the Market Sellers list.

Had one of these for about and hour before I realised it didn't actually make any difference to the sound. But hey, maybe my hearing isn't as good as yours...

I got one of these from Tesco for £10 a week or so back and it really does work. Its not a huge increase in volume but its good enough for most uses. Just bear in mind that if your iphones speakers sounds crap and tinny its still going to sound crap and tinny only louder!

according to one of the review on Amazon. it won't fit iPhone 4

i bought this ages ago when it was "a deal" (?) and frankly i found it made no difference whatsoever t the volume.

Buy it as a stand yes, but imho a waste of money - simply very clever marketing......

Same as that really, makes very little difference to the sound from the phone just laying on the table.
It's about £6 overpriced at this deal.
Also, if you have one of those clip on covers to protect the rear of the phone, it will have to come off every time you put it in the Aircurve as it won't fit in properly with it on.

This works fine with my ipod touch 4th gen.
