Excellent value for money. Works with the iphone 3G. I am on 2.1 firmware and it does not show any errors or messages when connecting it up. Just works.
Charges, controls and connects your iPhone to your car aux input.

Apple sells a charger only for £13. This ones does so much more. It even comes with the aux cable included. It also tells you whe the iphone is charged.

Manufacturer Description:

A new twist to the classic car charger for iPod: Track Control.

AutoPilot is a sleek, low profile power adapter that plugs into the cigarette lighter or power socket in your dashboard or console.

AutoPilot's illuminated knob gives you controls for Play/Pause and Track Forward/Backward.

Press the control surface with your finger; you get tactile feedback that lets you keep your eyes on the road.

It's the perfect complement for iPod touch while driving; you never have to glance down or touch the face of your iPod.

AutoPilot even includes a line-level output jack for best possible sound from car stereos equipped with Auxiliary-In sockets.

You get fingertip control of the music, clean sound through AUX-in, and you arrive at your destination with a fully charged iPod.

My local Tesco's are selling these, without the aux cable for a tenner, could be a local deal but they were all in correct packaging but with the yellow markdown stickers on them.

Could be worth a look?

Even better. Too late for me now. :(
The aux cable is nothing special and I am sure most people will have one already. Check if it's exacltly the same as there are many models and some only charge the iphone/ipod without controlling it.

Are you sure it's this model. I thought they were the Belkin ones which have a charge and have an aux output but cannot control the iPod which is a pretty useful feature.

I have one of these in my Mazda 6 (with third part aux in) it's a excellent product if you have a Ipod Touch. I think I paid about £30 from IpodWorld about six months ago so it's a good deal.
