i was all excited as i want one of these

went and checked out the specs, and it comes with a 30inch fricking cable

sigh, i shall not be buying when so much unnecessary cable gets shoved in my pocket and untangled multiple times a day

am i missing something with head phones these days - why do they come with HUGE long cables? there must be a reason that alludes me

Good price but wasn't blown away by people's reviews on Amazon (overall good idea but no volume control, you're left with an annoying length of headphone cable and the clip breaks really easily).

Do you remember what it was called as can't find anything like this? Thanks.

Btw. Had 3 orders lost from DealExtreme over the space of 10 months last year and never received replacements or refunds. Messaged them many times in their awkward help system and customer service was terrible. I don't think anyone there understands English as I kept explaining the problems in various ways and they kept asking what was wrong!!!

I only place small orders under £5 now just to be safe :-)

damn typical, I bought it just a few weeks back when it was £8 or so.

I bought it to use with the htc touch hd as I'd read that it works(well the music control doesn't work, i.e you can't fast 'forward, rewind' etc. but works for answering the call). have since bought the htc desire, pausing seems to work but not ff,rw etc. not yet tested to see if it actually works for answering call with it.

Just bought one from DealX. First buy from them. Hope it gets here!

i was about to post a deal from play its the same price there but amazon is a much better place to buy anyway so theres no point in me posting plays deal
#13
ooo nice just ordered, id prefer to order it from amazon, they have a year guarantee on all there products and there's no real hassle if you try and return something.
#14
quality of mic really is really poor, people on the other end always complain about not being able to hear you. you have to hold the mic up right next to your mouth for it to be audible which kinda defeats the purpose of it

For those just wanting a microhone, this has better reviews.

Cold: had one and it broke after about a months use. Was replaced - again a month of use and dead, replaced - died again and got money back.

The cable is of dreadful quality, it frays and then something will stop working - microphone and headphone went on mine at different times.

Had a griffin case too it and cracked far too easily. Will avoid their products now.

Save your money - I bought one, it broke within 2 months.

You can get something similar for less than half of Amazon's price on eBay.

is this the best wired handsfree option to use with the HTC Desire?
