Probably going to undersell the deal putting "mb" instead of "gb" in the title there ;)

These were £23.99 a couple of weeks ago, I bought two..

Not bad incidentally, I bought them as PVR's for a couple of screens that only had USB 2.0 so shelling out the extra for 3.0 was pointless.. Do the job, and good value though, so I'd recommend them..

Nope, I didn't think £23.99 was a good enough deal to post :)

Like I said, they're good sticks for a decent price, but even at £23.99 I figured they were just an okay price, nothing to set your pants on fire..

Good price but I'd rather have the grixx, i've read good stuff about them.

I've got both the red mymemory and the grixx, and the grixx has one major flaw, it does really well at benchmarks and really poor in real use. In real use the mymemory doubles the performance I obtained from benchmarks and the grixx is less than half.

Comparing them the grixx is still faster than the mymemory, but it gets extraordinarily hot when copying to and from, it also stalls every few seconds dropping write speed down to a few KB/s, so when copying big files or a large amount of smaller files, it's probably around 2-4 times the speed of the mymemory. The heat and performance issues occur regardless of data size and type. I know of quite a few similar reports of the stalling and heat issues.

The mymemory on the other hand, achieves a remarkably consistent copy speed twice that predicted by the benchmarks, this is particularly true of large media files.

If you can live with relatively poor performance of the mymemory, I suspect you'd have a more robust memory chip. But both of mine have performed flawlessly for the last 4 months.

Yup. My drive behaves exactly like Mike's. It's a good product, but don't believe the benchmarks. They only tell half of the story.

I have two of these. Both are flawless, and very fast at both writing and reading. No stalls at all. Nice and fast on USB3.

Just ordered and minimum delivery charge is £1.99 so totalled £30.98. Great deal.

What machine are you connecting it to? I found the same problem on all my USB3 based PCs, but they've probably all got the same chipset.

Does it also suffer from the heat problem.

Mine arrived today and it gets fairly hot in a short space of time but works perfect so far so I will keep an eye on it.

I just got mine. It arrived within 2 days of ordering.

It comes formatted as exFAT. What the heck? It runs very. very hot - my 7DayShop branded 64GB USB3 stick is completely cool. Also, once you manage to re-format the drive to NTFS, the transfer speed falls dramatically. Not impressed so far.

I've now bought three of the 64GB USB 3.0 Grixxers and they've all proved to be well made and very fast. They come formatted as FAT 32 but can easily be changed to exFat or NTFS in Windows 8.1. I have tested them all in a modern PC and a brand new USB 3.0 laptop. I also have no problems using the drives with my Panasonic TV or my Minix Android TV box. Both ATTO and CrystalDiskMark show max reads of 133 MB/s and max writes of 70 MB/s across a wide range of larger file sizes. These speeds correspond with the real usage speed when moving files around in windows 8.1. I have not experienced any kind of stuttering and have filled and emptied the drives several times to test data integrity. They are small enough to fit in tight spaces without blocking adjacent ports and their aluminum body only get mildly warm even in heavy use.

Grixx drives seem to me to be excellent value for money, although naturally I can't comment on their longevity. I see no reason to believe they will not last as well as other brands as they have a decent memory controller (advanced system information recognizes them as Innostor based pen drives) and are not at all prone to overheating. Good luck Hotdealers.
