Groceries Miss Prices @ Tesco

Just done my grocery shopping and found what seems to be a couple of miss prices on their websites:

Tesco Healthy Living Chicken With Baby Potatoes Vegetable & Gravy 420g price £0.01
http://www.tesco.com/superstore/xpi/1/xpi60796291.htm

Tesco L/C Cod In Cheese Sauce & Veg Selection 450g price £0.01
http://www.tesco.com/superstore/xpi/8/xpi50258538.htm

Also theres an offer starting with deliveries from the 03/01/07 that states 2 meals for £1.

These meals are upto £3.29

http://www.tesco.com/superstore/product/promo.aspx?prodId=54625054

Do you think these offers would be honored?

you can easily get the value of your bill up to use the £6 off £60 voucher

First post so apologise if its jibberish

no they wont with tesco you are charged what the shop charges. they just give you an idea of price. it states it online some where.

Oh yes here it is:

Please note that the prices on our Grocery website are guide prices only. The actual price you pay will be the price charged in store at the time your order is picked for delivery. The actual order value cannot be determined until the day of delivery because the prices stated on the website may vary either above or below the prices in store on the day your order is picked and deliveredWhen your order is delivered you may return any item and receive a full refund if you consider that the difference between the price charged and the guide price shown on the Grocery website is unacceptable.

I guess the 2 for £1 might still be worth a try, you can always send them back with the driver.

These meals are always in the reductions cabinet at my store so my guess is that they have reduced the price to discontinue the line. I used to work at tesco and this practice was common on unpopular lines and as long as they are in stock you should get them at this price (although when I worked at tesco the staff used to hide 1P and 10P labels and clear the shelves of cheap stock at the end of our shift!!!). As an earlier post stated you can send the items back with the driver if you are charged more or the item is substituted.

Well I guess the error is Tesco's and they have got it covered but so have you...

If you think there is an unacceptable difference blar blar blar then you can request a refund.

Good luck

Regards

Steve

Thanks for a hot deal!! [IF they honour it] Knowing Mr T they will wriggle out of it, like the time they had Bounty Kitchen rolls at £0.01 for a pack of 2 online. No amount of arguing would persuade them to honour the deal. I ended up sending back the 20 packs ordered. [they were going to go to a homeless shelter before you ask!!]

Still worth another try I suppose, would be good to get one over on Tesco.

Interesting - I got the kitchen rolls for 1p a pack - must vary from store to store.
I'm gonna try this one too!

HI,
The offer should read as "buy two meals save £1". This is the price that will be charged instore from 03.01.08, so its very unlikely to be honoured.
Hope this helps

It's just been reported on www.paidtoshop.co.uk that these are not being honoured at 2for£1 for home deliveries.
