Great price!!

Thanks - Just reserved one - VOTED HOT. This is great as it comes with a spirit level, which is a good idea as the metal spike I hammered into the ground make my clothes pole lean over.

So is this plastic or metal, we need a new one but plastic ones seems too flimsy especially in all the clay we have in our garden here.

in the pictures it looks plastic but the metal one is technically half the price of this one before it was reduced.

Hot - although seems to work for some people but not others.

Looks like it's plastic.

Worth a try at that price. Plenty in stock at local Argos.

Cheers OP, reserved one to replace the concreted monstrosity that's in my back garden at the moment.
Much safer for the kids hopefully!

what is this actually?

Aw I bought one of these full price!!

My garden is really hard clay and I got it in without too much effort but after a week or so I had to concrete it in because my washing line was leaning over.

Bought it 2 weeeks ago, spirit level is excellent and our washing line is still perfectly upright. Will probably get another at this price to put in another part of the garden!

Can anyone tell me how you screw these into the ground? Is there a tool to use?

what is this actually?

I think it screws into the lawn/soil and a rotary clothes drier pole or parasol would then slot into it and be held upright and hopefully level. :)

Unless you have very firm ground this will work loose in a shortish time and your clothes line will lean. Voted hot still though.

You get a pole to stick through it so you have got something to hold on to
