To anyone who is worried about forgetting and being charged, you can check a box that will switch auto-renew off. Go to "My Account" then click "Manage Payments" to find it. Your subscription will run to the end of the agreed period and not renew on its own then. (Just double check what the stated end-period is for your subscription - I've only done this with the free trial myself)

It states in the offer that you cant do this.....
"Auto-renew should not be turned off during the offer period as this will remove the discount from your account; if it is turned off you will be charged £8.99 a month for the remainder of the offer period."

That seems very badly set up then, I can understand how cancelling your subscription would remove it. That just seems a really clumsy way of doing it for them

WORD IF WARNING . Do not sign up and then cancel it a few days later thinking it will continue to run for the full 6 months, It won't. Now T.V sent out an email to all groupon customers last time saying once you cancel it they can't restart it to continue for the rest of the 6 month period (apparently loads of groupon customers were doing it). Basically you have to remember to cancel in 6 months time and not before ;)

If you read the the offer terms then you will do well to Ignore what this person is saying !!

I was only trying to help... Jesus. I did say to check what it states as the end period of the subscription so you don't accidentally cancel it early, and I've now deleted the post to help stop anyone doing it accidentally without reading the further posts. What do you want me to do, go and whip myself?

Has it got a good selection of movies?

Put it this way... it's basically the most currrent selection of films you can get from a service like this. Whether you think that's good or not is personal taste. It doesn't have too bad a back catalogue but stuff gets added and deleted from the library, not everything stays available forever.

Still prefer Netlix using Un Block us as to get any region Netlfix.

    What do you get extra?

You get to watch any region Netflix, the uk one is crap compared to the USA and Canadian one etc...

    Have a look for yourself
    http://www.nowtv.com/movies
that shows different catagories all of which have a Show All link to the right, then theres the search bar too see if a specific movie's available. The main NowTV page usually shows upcoming new films.

I bought my daughter a Now TV box last week and have had an account since last fri. I was willing to buy her months 2,3 and 4 for 9 quid each but for the sake of making a new account and using my debit card instead of credit i've now got this offer up and running :) all took under 5 mins even as a non groupon member at the time.
    Thanks !

Was £6 for six months using a voucher code only 3 weeks ago. However, no sky sports pass with that one.

Not too bad at this price but Netflix is so so much better. There's no way I'd pay more.

I'm probably being a little dim, but could someone explain which code to enter where? I'm using the "Groupon code" off of the voucher, entering it in the voucher box above the payment details, every time I hit 'Apply' it says "The voucher code provided is not valid please re-enter"

    Anyone help?

Just to double check did you go through http://www.nowtv.com/promo/groupon and click the Activate button, then as you say its in the voucher box. Just double check if you're copying and pasting the code that theres no spaces added at the start or end. My code began NOW*********.
    Hope you get it working.

No, you can not watch this on any smart TV as far as I am aware. NowTV can be watched on Roku, Youview and Nowtv boxes, sky box, androids, ios devices etc.

Just to clarify for people who have difficulty understanding. You get access to All the films the sky movies are currently screening on there movie channels. You can either pick from lists, categories etc or watch live what's on the movie channels now. It don't work with a sky box, it's a separate service, called nowtv, which is run by sky. You can watch it on your TV through a nowtv box that they were knocking out for a tenner, via a ps3 or xbox hooked up to your TV. Or you can watch it on your pc, ipad or any device you can download the nowtv app. It's a good service, I've used mine for a few months, I'll watch a movie via the ipad whilst the Mrs is watching her soaps, when she finished you just stop the movie on the one device and continue watching from the same point on another, so I finish watching on the big screen via the ps3. Ps3 service isn't amazing, the picture does lose quality from time to time but only for a matter of seconds. For the price you can't go wrong, I got the 6 months for £4 each offer and applied it last night, can't be arsed changing it now as it well worth the £4 I'm paying per month.
