You're getting a bit late for sowing chillies. My Cayennes are 15cm tall already.

Good luck. I'm not sure you'll get much from them though. The heat will help germination. The greenhouse is a fairly standard requirement for a decent crop.

I picked up the Tomato one, seems good for 99p, but I am struggling to find somewhere 24-27 degrees to propogate them.

Voted hot though.

Chilli growing is my hobby.

You can start them now and if it doesn't fruit you can overwinter them buy cutting them back and keep them out of frosts and give them a little water and plenty of sunlight.

Next spring they will burst back into life!.

I have a 7 pot on my front room window which is in it's 3rd year.

Last year I grew over 80 different species in my green house!

By the way the 7 pot is a rare species from Trinidad and has recently been crossed with a Bhut Jolokia and holds the new world record ( The Infinity chilli ).

Mine Infinity never germinated though! :x

You want to try the 7 pot.
A standard jalpeno is about 10,000 on the scovile scale and the 7 pot is about 1,500000!

No it isn't.

The Bhut Jolokia chilli is 1,041,427. Infinity chilli is 1,067,286...So, if the Infinity is the world's hottest then the 7 Pot can't be 1,500,000 ;-)
