Just don't fly via Heathrow as you'll have a very unhappy child.
It will either get lost forever or come out in pieces after the baggage handlers unofficial "who can lift a case to the highest point and then drop it at the best angle to cause maximum damage" Game

that is if they are not striking because the £100k PA salary for 13 hours per week is sufficient to keep Tarquinn and Henrietta in Eton don't you know

That's lovely :-)

If you buy a trunki you deserve to have that game played with your head. 18 litres storage for a child?! stupid kick height children on wheels getting under everyones feet and causing far more distress than baggage handlers have ever caused me.

Children shouldn't be allowed to travel untill they reach 16 or better still 18

When we bought my son's one it said in the instructions and bits only to keep it as hand luggage.

Heat added for this as my son was desperate for the gruffalo one.

isn't supposed to be hand luggage? otherwise, what would be the point if it was check in so they couldn't use it?!?!?!?!

These are definately only intended as hand luggage!

The idea of them is fab and my daughter loves her bright pink one, but I don't find them particularly good quality. We took her's to Majorca and one of the handles snapped. It only had three books, two teddies and a packet of sweets in it!! I returned it as soon as we got home but we haven't been away since, so hopefully the new one will be a bit better.

Amazon have it at this price too and have for a few weeks.

Hubby bought our daughter one and she loves it.

These are fab - we have two and have used them numerous times. Keeps the kids happy for two minutes while you pull them along. Just to let people know when we have used them on flights we take them through as hand luggage and not put them through with the rest of the cases.

my sons got the tiger one and loves it. Could be a bit better made imo, but def only to be used as hand luggage :)

You may have to twist their arms and legs at unnatural angles, but you should be able to squash a child into an 18 litre case in if you try hard enough.

And with RyanAir's charge per bag policy, it will be a lot cheaper to check your children in as luggage at £5 per case (just make sure they are wearing jumpers, as the baggage hold can get a little cold)

Another side benefit is that your child will receive a free diagnostic x-ray at no extra charge - all in all, is that terrific value or what?

For god sake! They're kids, why shouldn't they go on holiday. If you don't want to be around kids go on a SAGA holiday!

The pink and blue ones are only £24.99 at Amazon.

i dont get why your replying on a thread thats about a childrens holiday product when you clearly

a) dont have any children who would use a trunki
b) have children but are completely intolerable of them and dont understand them
c) are a bit of a whinge bag
d) Your fed up with children steeling 'your' bulk head :p

not all children get under peoples feet and kick chairs, but granted, sometimes they do, usually because their parents tell them to kick the man in front because he is being a bit of an :whistling:

Hot from me. my two perfectly behaved long haul acclimatised children (3 1/2 & 1 1/2) have one each, they are fantastic even for popping to granny's with and over night stays...

i'm afraid i'll tell your children off and you if they misbehaved in my plane.... if the security guards don't do it first.

Mine came through within a couple of days as usual. I ordered it when someone posted the deal up on here after Christmas.

It's just for the saddle bag, the Trunki is not included.

i think you must be one of those delightful 'cabin crew' which really makes it ironic that you could call anyone else a retard, the exits are located right next to your jacket.
