This is a Freeview recorder that records onto USB pen drives or some external hard drives (formatted at FAT32) This is a useful item if you wish to transfer recordings onto other devices. I recently purchased this item and find it very useful.

this is cheap enough just to be a freeview box, let alone a recorder! HOT!

Good freeview box but unfortunately the usb recording function lets it down.

Got this box from Tesco when they had it for £69.99, but on the recordings the sound and pictures didnt match up (tried multiple usb hard drives and sticks along with aerials).

can't say i've had any problems with my unit mate :-( i'm using an indoor ariel and the sound and picture are in perfect sync. I'm using a pretty slow 16GB pen drive too
