If they give you the activation key you should be able to activate it through steam. I like to do that just to keep my games all in one place and it also keeps them up to date. I did this with Modern Warfare 2, I bought it though Games download service which was £10 cheaper than on steam and then just pasted in the activation code.
Anyway this is hot for me.
Its more CPU than GPU intensive, you really need a good Quad core processor to run it well

That's only for certain games, and i don't believe this is one of them.

Ahh, I should have checked. Thanks for pointing that out!
No worries
Like you i prefer all my games on steam for the convenience, I'll pay a bit extra to get a game on steam over retail but it's always good to know what keys are accepted to see if you can buy cheaper retail and add it to steam anyway.
Like someone has already mentioned, this was £4.99 at christmas and i bought it then, I don't know why as i'd already had it on ps3 and thought it was crap, which was a shame as III, san andreas and vice city are amongst my favourite games. I just can't resist a bargain :p And yea, it was still crap after the first few hours so i haven't been back to it.
Not really, runs fine at 1080p with my 4870, Q8400 and 4Gb ram on WIndows 7 64 Bit, with mostly high details. Crysis doesnt run at 1080p, well it does, but only about 20-25 FPS.
Yes... I quite regret passing on that opportunity.
I already had both GTA4 and Episodes from Liberty City on the 360, but now i'd love to see it on my gaming rig with some of the gorgeous visual mods.
Helpful for anyone who wants to read the bleedin' obvious. Any game released in the last 12 months that doesn't run ok on that spec is gonna have a hard sell.
I presume the multiplayer will be compatible with GTA IV players.
Anyone want to buy my pristine 360 version? :p
