Do not give Rockstar your monies. They should have released this on PC on the original launch. Now a year on, its getting re-launched on consoles and on PC, i really hope it get pirated to high hell.

"I predict you will get the 5% discount by liking their Facebook page!"

It's like saying "I predict the sun will set at night", have you been ignoring the million and one cdkeys 'deals' you that get posted on here? I know you've only been a member for 5months but there have been quite a few cdkeys 'deals' in that period, all mention the 5% fb dicount(well unless the deal poster is a newbie).

You might want to add the 'with 5% fb discount code' or similar in the title, you might get some newbie(or a long/ish term member who has never seen a cdkeys deal tho not sure how that's possible) who doesn't read past the title and price posting a comment

'But it's £27.99' or similar.

Just like your comment then.

This site is about the best finding the best deals available for something at the time not what you think of it.

Did you really have to go and wake up GTA IV in my memory? I was trying to forget it ever existed. Worst GTA game and even worse on the PC than it was on consoles...

Never did understand all the complaints about that as I had no issues running it at all.

People should bear in mind that Max Payne 3 came out after GTA 4 and there wasn't the complaints like there was for GTA.

When it came out yes. It's terribly optimised. However now on mid-high end PC's it runs smooth as hell, and with mods it's 1000000000000000 times better than the console version.

Have you seen how buggy Rockstars PC versions usually are? I would rather wait a year and get a enhanced version optimised for the PC rather than the buggy mess we would have gotten if it was released a year ago.

If it had been released a year ago, you'd probably be telling everyone not to buy this on PC, because it's a poor port and not worth buying.

Remember back to pretty much every GTA game that has launched on console... PC versions always come last. It's a predictable and expected move from Rockstar. Bottom-line is GTA V is a great game that will deliver your monies worth. Sure it sucks it's coming out about a year late but is that reason enough to vote cold?

Use the site for how it was intended - vote cold if it's a poor deal or hot if it's an awesome deal. This is currently the cheapest GTA V deal around and by default that alone makes it hot.

Opinions are part of what makes this site informative but it really gets on my nerves when people use their opinions (which are often rubbish) to influence their vote.

I don't need a 4k HDTV. I don't want one. But I voted one of them hot the other day because it was a good deal... I didn't vote cold because 4K in the UK is pointless.

Ha! they think they can get that price for an old game? I don't care what nice textures they've used, a port is a port.

I was unable to play Max Payne 3 for 3 months after I bought the season pass and it screwed up my Steam details.

Rockstar support was absolutely abysmal (they took 2 weeks to answer each email).

Highly unlikely I will ever buy another Rockstar games.

Oh it's on steam? I'd defo hold out for sales then. It might drop as low as £10 after a few months during sales. When you see £26.59 price for a PC game like this, you should think it's a good deal. But thanks to steam PC gamers are used to awesome prices compared to console games.

GTA V is being built on the same engine as Max Payne 3, one of the best optimised games of all time

If it's anything like their other releases it will also require a Rockstar Social Club account, Steam is really just used to deliver the download and validate the serial number. You are right though, it will probably be in the Christmas Steam sale.

This uses the same engine as max Payne 3 which runs very nice on PC, hopefully this follows suit.

Thanks OP! Will definitely be getting this, was fun on ps3.

Jesus wept, this game is ancient history now.

I assume this is the benefit of owning a £900 super rig, having to wait over a year for something decent to play.

Pre-ordering is always a bad idea in my opinion. More often than not I've been burned. Nonetheless, it's still a hot deal (heat added).

Clueless console gamer who knows nothing about PC gaming alert.
£900 PC is no where near a super rig, depending on the specs it would be considered a decent highish end rig but by no means a super rig.

Yeah, mine came to about that (I7 4770 CPU/ GTX 760 GPU / 16GB RAM / Windows 8.1) and can run most games on a reasonable setting but some games don't even come close to being able to run at high/ultra settings (though that is probably more an indication of poorly optimised games). Just can't justify £350+ for a better GPU at the moment.

Also in Tesco Clubcard Boost, £38 or £19 in vouchers. Opted for the PS4 version for now though - i have finished it on PS3 and enjoyed it, but not sure if my PC is up to doing this game justice. Im sure it will be in a Steam sale soon enough though :)

Well it's fine if you're using search, the fact is 99.999999% of the people don't. Also most of the time you're just browsing the deals, no clear item in mind and might come across a very good deal for something you're interested in(tho not necessarily actively looking for) but these cdkeys 'deals', wild goose chases etc makes it difficult ti find the real gems.

Personally, I'm very excited by GTAV on the PC as the only reason I held off getting it on the PS3 last year was the hope of a PC version with vastly superior graphics (as well as more cars on the road etc). However, I'll wait and see what the Steam pre-order price is before I decide where to get it from.

What a miserable excuse for attempting to justify piracy. Rockstar do not have to spend time and money developing a PC port. They are, because PC fans want it and have even petitioned for it. If it gets heavily pirated and does not sell well, then we probably won't get GTAVI on the PC, which would be a shame as gaming PCs are so much more powerful than consoles.

I played the Episodes From Liberty City on PC and they were excellent except for issues with Games For Windows Live preventing me from saving (why it needed to used GFWL when I bought it from Steam is beyond me). GTAV is only using Steam for DRM apparently, so there shouldn't be the GfWL-related problems.

Justify piracy he says, hahah lol http://steamcommunity.com/id/themattyplant/ 570 games bought and paid for....

Rockstar initially weren't porting it to PC for pirating fears, yet a quick search on the seven seas shows hoards of 360/PS3 knock offs.

And GTA 4's PC port was an abomination, you say yourself you only played episodes? So if this comes out a year on, with bugs, will you defend it then?

Do as we say, not as we do.

I posted once in this thread. Next thing I know one of the moderators decided to suspend me for a period of one day. No explanation from them whatsoever regarding why he/she/they ajudged me to have broken site rules other than a standard pro forma informing I had 'trolled'. No explanation of whom I had trolled.

For the record, the post concerned was in no way trolling anyone or anything. It seems there is at least one moderator here who believes they can act how the heck they wish to and who doesn't even have the common decency to communicate to people why it is he or she took the decision to temporarily ban them. Sending a stardardised automated PM that explains nothing of the specifics does not suffice and neither does the offer to discuss the matter via email suffice.

If what Buzz' is seemingly implying is correct then it would appear that we have a moderator here who is an Xbox One fanboy who is absuing his position by selectively banning people whose opinions and humour he doesn't personally like. Disgusting.

How does my comment prove your point?
Other than the fact a £900 PC isn't a super rig, just because 1 game is coming out a year after the last gen console versions doesn't mean every single game comes a year late. If you bothered doing any sort of research before spouting your rubbish as fact you'd see you're wrong.

Just FYI I am both a console and PC gamer

Good price for what will be a good PC gaming experience. After finishing the game on PS3, I shall be looking forward to playing this on PC at a much higher rez, I do hope multi monitor support is enabled.
