GTA Vice City PC £6.75 deliverd free

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

The biggest selling game EVER on the PS2 is coming to the PC and this version will have enhanced features including improved graphics and sound, additional PC controls, as well as several options for players to customize the game.

From the decade of big hair, excess and pastel suits comes a story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile as Grand Theft Auto returns to the PC. Vice City is a huge urban sprawl ranging from the beach to the swamps and the glitz to the ghetto, and is the most varied, complete and alive digital city ever created. Combining non-linear gameplay with a character driven narrative, you arrive in a town brimming with delights and degradation and are given the opportunity to take it over as you choose.

Improved graphics and sound

Additional PC controls

New options to customize the game

Still my favourite GTA game for some reason or other, I like the eighties vibe to it. And the PC and Xbox 1 versions are vastly superior to the PS2 version, the graphics and draw distance on the PS2 version are shockingly bad, there again out the last gen consoles the PS2 had the worst graphics.

Best played on the PC with a configurable joypad.

If we're lucky we might get a mirror image version of Liberty City

I have my fingers crossed for a re-imagining of Vice City, but would love some of the open world aspects of San Andreas to be included.

Yeah, thats great isn't it, compare something new to second hand on ebay, wonder how many HotUKDeals there would be with that philosophy.

I wished Rockstar would do a GTA IV Vice City, but I think they are done with that engine now.

Optimising a PS2 :? Other than connection with a component lead and a games options supporting 480P such as Primal, how can you optimise GTA Vice City on a PS2, I own a Gamecube,Dreamcast, Xbox 1 and PS2, hardly a fanboy, GTA Vice City is definitely superior on the Xbox and PC.

I mean Rockstar optimizing the game for the PS2. It was never really optimized for the PS2, whereas on the Xbox & PC, it came out later so of course they could make improvements, however, aside from the loading times, there wasn't any outstanding benefit to the Xbox and PC versions. However, it doesn't feel right (in my opinion) playing a GTA game, which started on a Sony console, on an Xbox or PC, which is why, in my eyes, the PS2 version was still more playable

Coding aspects aside, the PS2 was a far weaker machine than the Xbox, the graphics and draw distance were appalling on the PS2, for me there is no difference as far as controlls, so equally playable, nicer appearance on the Xbox and PC though. Without a doubt in my opinion the PS2 was the weakest of last gen, even Dreamcast pushed through VGA on an LCD TV looks nicer.
