England has it on 3 for £20, several other types of beer on for this price but it was the Guinness that caught my eye as was sticking up for a Paddy's day party later in the month.

Is that really true - that one cannot buy more than 10 cans of beer at a time in Scotland? I had not realised the daft nanny state had gone that far!

You can buy as many as you want but the shops are not able to offer multi buy deals to encourage you to buy more ie bogof / 2 for £x / buy 2 get 3rd free etc etc. The plus side is that when a national retailer does a multi buy deal in England such as this one (3 cases for £20) or 3 bottles of wine for a tenner etc then In Scotland they just reduce the individual item price to compensate.

lol that makes it worse, so you only need to stump up £6.67 at a time instead of £20 to get drunk

8 quid in my local Scottish Asda in Newmains. But glad I went for a look as the 20 packs of Tennent's Lager were only 10 quid. :) Happy days.
