Just a last reminder - this poster is quite popular and is a great price @ £2.99 delivered. I think the sale ends soon so might go back up in price. Get it now if you want it :)

A bit off topic i know but My 6 year old daughter got a guitar from a relative for xmas.
I know nothing about playing them.Does anyone know of any child friendly sites/books which can help teach her?

Thanks

True, but the same could be said for any image on a poster ever ;)

It's good for those whose guitar is not near their computer, or even if your guitar is close to the computer some may prefer to have an at a glance reference rather than look up the chords on google.

Though if you do use a PC for your guitar playing like I do, I rate ChordFind.com highly :) An awesome chords database with easy-to-read fret markings.

For a six year old I would recommend a teacher because it will be hard for her to read music/tab at that age withouth a bit of help (I would think). Have a look at this website, you can search for teachers locally:

http://www.registryofguitartutors.com/

Think I will get one of these chord posters as well!

I recommend and swear by www.chordbook.com. It is interactive and has a nice Flash interface where you can see the fingering of chords and also hear what they sound like. You can also tune the guitar from here.

Tempted by this but then, I think I'll put the £2.99 toward a decent amp.

Does the poster tell you how to play a burning guitar with your teeth? If not, Cold.

Well every penny counts. Just think the money would be better put toward a guitar amp than spent on a poster.

Got this for my daughter last time it was posted - it's been very successful. Chords are pictured nice and clear and easy to follow.

I have had one of these for the last year and its very useful , also an excellent guitar tutor on youtube SASKSTRUM is his channel (great teacher btW) told me about a free program called EasyChord and I find it really useful when just sitting in front of the PC learning a new song from YouTube
