The product is fantastic, obviously all the professional games reviewers are wrong in your opinion. Voted Hot.

I would interpret what he is saying as the voucher is a hot deal, but the products you use it against are inter-changable, ie you can use the code against pretty much anything in the catalogue, you don't have to use it against Guitar Hero 2.

I'm still bitter about an order I made with them in early November still not being delivered by mid Feb! Needless to say that was cancelled...

Think I might order Guitar Hero with the code, been after it for a while .. thanks!
#24
I stacked codes with lxdirect once (same company I think) and although it went through fine on the website, I was charged an amount that was with only one voucher (and the voucher that gave the LEAST discount at that). I rang up, and they begrudgingly refunded me, and claimed that I was illegally using this website to find codes.

Basically, I wouldn't recommend stacking codes. I'm sure the T&C's will say only one code per order or something.
#25
Does anyone know if the discounts come off straight away (ie. not charged to the debit card) or is it a credit that is added to your Littlewoods account for use against your next order?

I had this problem with Additions - which is the same company and dont want this to happen again.

Many thanks

How could they possible claim that you were 'illegally' using this website?!?

Yes, it seems to. They have a few different 60gb 1 game bundles which work out to £398 after the codes. :)

I put in an order worth £75 before vouchers, checkout stated order total of £47.50 but when it went to the order tracking page the price had gone upto £71! Gave them a ring straight away to cancel it cause I didn't want the full £71 taken from my account. They told me it would be cancelled and no payment taken but I've just checked my bank account and its £71 poorer than earlier on today. I'm not very impressed to be honest, just had to sit on hold for a while to get through to them again to ask for a refund which is going to take upto 7 days.

Take care when stacking the codes with them, it appears only the 10% one worked for me! Nice idea though :giggle:

I know when this site used to be called lx direct they used to process the payment if full and then put a credit back to your payment card equal to the discount. This method has been confirmed on many occassions and I suspect that's what would have happened in your case also.

Does anybody have any recent experience of the way Littlewoods process voucher discounts to confirm this?
#33
Should My order show up straight away in order history and should I recieve a confirmation email?

Surely if that was the case neither of the discounts would have gone through? On mine, the 10% discount was applied but the larger discount left ...

I dont know anyways, just thought it was bizzare!

Yes it's very strange I know. The %discount is applied as you would expect but the cash discount is charged and credited back to the payment card. It's just the way they process it. ;-)
#36
thanks!! Wario Ware game for Wii and a second Nunchuck controller for £25.
#37
Tempted by this. I already have it, but the guitar is knackered
#38
great deal - I wanted the game, but couldnt really justify (to the mrs anyway) the £50. I think I can get away with £25.

Voted hot
#39
When I ordered from lxdirect the take the full amount then once the item/s have been shipped they refund the discount amount. I think % codes come of straight away its just money off codes they refund.

Alot of tempting stuff on there :)

Cheers OP
