Bought this yesterday in Reading for PS3 (other consols in stock) - I did quite alot of looking around and this was the best deal I could find - lots of places out of stock or a good £20 more without the guitar.

Cheapest I could find the guitar is £30ish, and cheapest price I could find for band pack alone was £146.

So thats £10 for a bass guitar.

Bring on Christmas rocking!

Note that the Xbox 360 extra guitar is actually just the X-plorer wired controller that was issued with Guitar Hero II. Still a good deal, but there actually is no such thing as a bass guitar for Guitar Hero, they just supply older stocks of guitars.

Heat added though, as this was only previously available to those that preordered online or in stores.

It's a good way to get an extra guitar, but you have to love it when shops claim to give you something free, and then charge more than the RRP....

Heat added as this is the cheapest currently including the 'free bass guitar'.

Actually the RRP is £179.99 without the free guitar, the shop is selling it lower than RRP, I myself preordered from Gamestation with the extra guitar for £149.99 and that was less than RRP.

A lot of stores are selling this without the extra guitar for more than £156...it is a very good deal on the High St.

The week after Gamestation were selling them for £149 they put them up to £179

I was just going off the RRP according to Powerplaydirect which I'd only been looking at about half an hour before I came across this posting

Hmmmm......why so cold?

Understand its hardly a rip roaring deal - obviously a popular Chrimbo pressie (trying not to think what they will cost in the new year)

BUT....I cannot find any better deal at the moment and with several parties I need it before Christmas.

Justify yourselves if you are voting cold - preferably with a better deal.

Beats me, the RRP DEFINITELY is £179.99 without the guitar, yes there are places online selling them for under £150...I myself preordered and got on week of release the 360 version on the Gamestation with the extra guitar for £149.99....that was then, other than preorders both online or offline you couldnt get an extra guitar.

The prices in most high st stores have gone up, so £156 with an extra controller as far as I am concerned is a steal of a price currently.
