Popped into HMV today and found this amazing deal. Game with guitar for the PC. For £20 I think it's a bargain. Only two left in Nottingham Victoria Centre. Pretty sure it's store dependent... but worth popping down to yours and have a look.

Still £75 online... you got one hell of a bargain there though. I'm looking for this myself.

This was in HMV Sheffield on Boxing Day, I was startled because they didn't bring it out for PC when they first launched Guitar Hero World Tour, i looked everywhere for it! Now have it for the 360 which i got at HMV on Boxing Day for £8, Game only.

I've seen this in HMV Bluewater, but only one there.

Whilst this is a cracking deal, I just don't see this as a PC game. It wouldn't feel right in the same way Mario / Sonic don't feel right on a PC or playing FPS games on a console. But that's just me!

To be honest mate, it makes no difference, you use the guitar for all the controls, you are just doing it on a slightly smaller screen. I played Guitar Hero III on the PC, and it was fine...

But that's just my opinion.

Great deal, but for PC I would have to recommend Frets on Fire over this, its free and you can get all the song packs for all the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games.

Tho curious if you could use the guitar hero controller with it ?

GH just feels more at home in the lounge in front of a TV with family & friends. I hope my son doesn't see this deal though as he'll want it for his bedroom!

gonna look for this tomorrow in Belfast, I think.

It's the exact same game ported over to PC. You also use the same controller. Maybe it's just the screen your using for your pc doesnt satisfy you? Got my pc linked up to my tv and it's grand.

You're right. What do I know about anything as I support the greatest team the world has ever seen. But as I walk through Leicesters fair city to set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone, I'll keep on smiling as when you're smiling The. Whole. World. Smile. With. You.

AAAAAAAAAA Leicester!

Pen 2 then Pen 3 of the Spion Kop. Those were the days!

This has been around for weeks (saw in HMV Telford on Boxing Day).

In fact, the deal has already been posted here:

Have spammed this thread as a dupe.

Picked this up in Belfast... had to ask for it. It was probably the last one, the packaging was a bit damaged but nothing serious.

I agree
I dont think there will be a problem with it on pc but standing in front of a desk playing the game just dont seem right to me.
That said if I can find one for this price I'll buy it

Many people have Home Theatre PCs hooked up to their TV which they use as a monitor. Once the game's running it should be indistinguishable from playing it on a console.

Nobody is suggesting standing in front of a desk.

Try Performous http://performous.org/ - essentially a 'full band' game - guitar, singing and dance mat (which I haven't tried) - not sure if it does drums.... but it plays frets on fire tracks (I think there's a fair chunk of common code)
