The Icelandic volcano may have disrupted international air travel, but Gullivers theme parks have come to the rescue.

Gullivers is offering half price theme park entry to UK holidaymakers whose travel plans have been disrupted by the volcanic ash anyone who brings along a valid airline ticket as proof will be treated to an affordable day out to make up for their disappointment.

Gullivers Billy Bobs Bi-Planes, a popular aeroplane ride, have managed to withstand volcanic dust and continue to transport visitors through the air.

A spokesman for Gullivers said: It seems Billy-Bobs Bi-Planes are among the very few aeroplanes currently flying in the UK, if not the whole of Europe.

It just goes to show that a sprinkling of Gullivers magic can work wonders and even combat the effects of Icelandic volcano dust.

Gullivers managing director Julie Dalton said: Wed like to offer a great day out in the British sunshine to all those people whose plans have been thrown into disarray.

Gullivers theme parks are located in Warrington, Matlock Bath and Milton Keynes. VAVs (volcanic ash victims) can enter any of their theme parks half price if they product a valid air travel ticket for this week.

So now a 'victim' is someone who's holiday was cancelled?
#2
A bit poor seeing as Sea World, Aquatica and Busch Gardens in Florida are offering free entry! Better than nothing though I suppose.

I'm sure this will more than make up for missing a fortnight in Florida, lol, nice gesture I guess, heat added.

I think this is a nice gesture at least it's not like the Ferry companys who are hiking the prices up :)
