Next cheapest with stock is £27.89 at Amazon. Contains 7 discs and 26episodes with a total running time of over 700 mins. Not seen it (yet) myself but the series has some good reviews.

"The Wild Frontier just got Wilder

On the planet of Endless Illusion, a lone man adorned in a tuxedo roams the wild and lawless frontier. Armed with a shape-shifting sword and a powerful Armor, Van's sole purpose in life is to find the mysterious clawed man who had murdered his bride.

After saving a town from vicious outlaws, he reluctantly takes on a travel companion: the young Wendy Garrett. In exchange for his help in finding her brother, she offers herself to Van as a bride, but that's the least of his worries as more deadly enemies await!"

These Anime-on-line weekly specials are costing me a fortune, they're just too good to pass up :-).

Thanks for taking the time to post these Anime deals, i always forget to check Anime-on-line...
#6
It's an alright anime, was hoping for a "modern western" like Trigun rather than a mecha, though.

1) That's unproven
2) They've taken steps to up security despite 1), see http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lunar-legend-tsukihime-complete-col/848409

EDIT: posted this on the move after a few beers and it could do with a little more detail. Probably should've mentioned the link refers to the comments on a previous anime-on-line deal where someone emailed them with concerns similar to yours and they gave a pretty good response i.e. Full security sweep and improved systems.

They already have my card details, have done for a while - I've bought 6 or 7 anime sets from them with no problems so far...

hated this show but please keep posting these deals, certainly the cheapest around.

hoping to get lain complete or maybe paranoia agent, internet and fansubs have kinda destroyed anime genre nowadays so only pap gets licensed even though the audience has grown but there is still some damn good older shows out there.

But, but... ADV (The first anime distributor) was founded by fansubbers.

Also, there's legal streaming alternatives nowadays like Crunchyroll, which is available to UK-ers :D

Good spot, from that list it looks like they are the cheapest place for the following:
The Ultimate Goddess Collection £4.99
Gravitation £9.99
Saiyuki Reload £9.99
Slayers Next Complete £9.99
Love Hina Complete £14.99
Samurai Champloo Complete £14.99
Tenjho Tenge Complete £14.99
Witchblade Complete £14.99

Some good stuff there, but the standouts for me have to be Samurai Champloo and Witchblade.

I think I'll hold off on this anime; although I like some mecha (like Gurren Laagan, Eureka Seven, FMP) from what I've read and seen the format on this looks to be Van fights baddies - baddies call in a mecha - Van calls in his mecha - end of fight (repeat 26x)

Still tempted as you can never have too much anime...

I'm told it starts of that way, generic mecha of the week fare. Even borrowing a few ideas from other shows. But the fights are supposedly spectacular and all the while it sows the seeds of a pretty good story that really kicks in when you hit the second half.

Now the source for that is the same that recommended Haibane Renmei, Eva, Gurren Lagann and Black Lagoon to me all of which I loved so I'm quite looking forward to this one :-).

Arrived today, woo (although tut tut to the royal mail, it was dispatched ages ago). Box says it won a Neo Gold Award, didn't know that - but then I wouldn't not being a Neo reader.

You should pick up a copy of neo its a really good mag, certainly confinced me to part with my money on anime.

I've read Neo once or twice, but find it seems to be aimed at people a lot younger than me. I'm not a teenager anymore ;-)
