Cold. Axl Rose is the biggest Bellend ever.

Best Album ever. Sold something like 40million worldwide. Every song on this could have been a single. Shaped hard rock. Awesome!!!

They don't make them like this anymore.

You're way ahead of him, trust me.

Good Album imho

The best debut album ever. Fair comment on Axl being a bell end though, but doesn't impact on the quality of the songs on the album. I'm sure his mum loves him.

i could be wrong but i think the 'bellend' re-recorded this album using hired hands so that none of the original members would get royalties on the sales.

if u want to here a killer version of sweet child listen to the new slash deluxe album with myles kennedy on vocals, bloody amazin!!

Superb album, great price.

Only thing that axl rerecorded was Sympathy for the Devil. Got someone to re-do Slash's solo's.

Classic

And that wasnt on any album by greatest hits.
#18
Fantastic album but spoilt on cd by being a crap transfer. Sounds thin and lightweight compared to vinyl album.

You are. Wouldn't work like that anyway. They did re-record it (or so legend has it) but it was never released, it was just to get the (new) band playing it ready for the live shows

+1 - one of the best debut albums ever (I've heard) - grew up with this and it got me into rock during my late teens.... excellent tracks - still great sounding today... "watch it bring you to your sh-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-knees-knees" (hehe). *cue air guitar leaps from the sofa!*

Lack of Talent & jealousy always raises its ugly head on forums sights dont ya think ??

Rose might not be what he was but the music lives on.

Ah right, just got the point of this site. It's not about whether the product is a good deal or not but more about our individual opinions on the company/band member/colour etc. Thanks.

Or you could be dangling yer wind up rod in the murky waters of HUKD in which case....caught!!!

As for the record; There are a few late 80's albums which still turn me right on & this is indeed one of them. D*ck or not, Axl & co. tuned a lot of people I knew into rock music for the first time & for that I am eternally grateful <3

Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the best albums ever and something that no rock fan should be without. I have this on cassette, CD and Vinyl with the original artwork. I was also lucky enough to see the proper lineup at Wembley Stadium supported by Faith No More and again at Milton Keynes Bowl.
Less lucky to see them at Docklands for the first tour with the new lineup, then very unlucky to have wasted money buying tickets for them in Nottingham when they didn't bother to get to the stage until after 11pm. Last time I'll make that mistake!

Anyway...
This album = excellent.
Axl = cock.

Best Album Ever. IMO

One of the best Debut albums ever. 'Out Ta get me', 'Mr Brownstone', 'Rocket Queen'. However Mr Happy is right It does sound a bit lacking on bottom end and mid range compared to the vinyl version. It lost some of that 'crunch' in the transfer.

I saw them in Manchester last year. A couple getting grumpy but Axl is renowned for it. Plus we had Seb Bach getting everyone going with his new band. Then a fair wait till the opening riff of Welcome to the Jungle. Sent shivers up my spine. Axl's vocals were the best ive heard from him for years. Concert was mind blowing. Dj Ashba is perfect for Guns as well.

Can't wait for the next album.
