Got some of these a couple of years ago for my garage underneath an overhanging tree. Well worth the money, Ive not had to unblock the downspouts since.

Easy-fix net system that prevents leaves, birds nests and debris clogging up your gutters.

* Black PE plastic mesh net (approx. 6m long x 17.5cm wide)
* 15 PE black fixing clips (approx. 16cm long)
* Can be cut to width of gutter

If you live near trees you'll still get a tree growing out your gutter even with one of these - I did - it just grows up throw the holes. These will stop some of the leaves from getting in but you will still need to clean out (every year or so) the dirt washed into the gutter from the roof and these guards make it more difficult to do that as you have to remove the guards to clean out the gutter.

They work a little bit but they're not a wonder cure!!

Gutter with a good flow are less likely to "seed" plants as all the water should drain out of them leaving them dry. Therefore next time you clean them check (with a garden hose) that all water does flow away. But if you are very close to trees I don't know of a way of stopping them becoming blocked eventually.

Got this last time they sold it. Great product - cheap too! Definitely recommend.

Remove the gutters and let the water run off the roof onto the ground.
