Lurking under the facade of everyday life lies a dark world of pain and destruction. The world is controlled by a sinister brotherhood that hides their fangs behind masks of humanity. They are the Chronos Corporation. While investigating a mysterious explosion near his school, Sho Fukamachi happens upon the Chronos Corporation's greatest weapon: a techno organic suit of bio armor known as the "Guyver." But Chronos is determined to conceal their secrets at any cost. Sho soon finds himself relentlessly pursued by an army of horrific bio-monsters. With nowhere to run, Sho is forced to call upon the fearsome power of the Guyver, and rip his opponents limb from limb in a desperate struggle for survival. Experience this all new production of this sci-fi anime legend in the most complete rendition of Guyver ever animated. Dare to discover the horror that lies beneath!

The Guyver has been a cult-classic for over 20 years, spawning over 150 manga chapters, two live-action movies, an OVA, and a short series. Now, Director Katsuhito Akiyama (Bubblegum Crisis, Armitage: Dual-Matrix, Thundercats) breathes new life into the dark masterpiece, treating us to the most complete and captivating story to date.

Too many anime deals - you are making me skint. Phew:p

Good anime, almost verged on being brilliant., though a fan of previous OVA , anime series and both films.

The animation quality is up and down though, much like the first series.

Which series do you prefer this or the first one?
#4
The first one is much better IMHO

Hot deal, though.

Is this the very first edition Manga ever released ?
#6
shame its not the scottish version

Well Worth It Heat And Rep Thanks!

I love the 12 part ovas and the two movies and the original animation movie. However this 26 part series left me a bit underwhelmed. especially since they ran out of money on the secnd season and had to put the ending most awkwardly in the last 20 mins of the final episode.

Great anime! As long as it's not the live action dodgy rubber suit version...

No, it's not the mid 90's manga version that was released in the UK on VHS with some most excellent music by Mad Dog Winston!!

That 12 part series was never avaliable to buy on R2 :x

I've seen this version and thought it was ok, both suffer from some poor animation in places, shame.

:w00t: Mutronics was an amazing film!! It's that damn good, it even had Mark Hamill in it. It made me yearn for a Guyver when I was 10 - still can't find one, even on eBay

Great deal is this.

I tried this in the past and it attracted the "I hate Manga" or "Manga is for pervs" type comments in the threads; seriously.
