couldn't have said it better.

is there a mod about?

Hallal is basically cleaner - no offence plus it's got no gelatine ( pork gelatine etc) who would want pork gelatine in there sweets anyway

Halal sweets are halal because they don't contain any form of gelatine. Nothing to do with slaughter or anything. Educate, and eradicate hate. Spread the love, we're all skin and bones anyway.

Leviticus 11:7-8

And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you.

I regularly read food labels and I can assure you that the majority of products available in the supermarket do not contain a pig's ass.

Quoting from the Bible isn't likely to diffuse tensions on here. Not the smartest idea. As for the actual deal, thanks for posting it jamming as I'm sure plenty of people are interested.

uni jelly treats with fruit juices 24x20gr bags in a bucket container
Do these have gelatine in them, or anything else derived from animal sources?

I'd put money on them having animal derived gelatine otherwise there would be no point in stating they were Halal.
It would be like stating a cucumber butty was Halal or a piece of fruit was gluten-free.

Mention halal in here and the haters come out of the woodwork. Thanks for posting op.

People who wish to avoid products containing gelatine from bovine origin (re. BSE/CJD). I avoided beef and beef gelatine for my children's sake.

I have no problem with these, as you have a choice. Unlike Subway etc.
But being told to be tolerant by the least tolerant race on earth takes the biscuit.

Does that mean the user spouting homophobic abuse and bypassing the swear filter will only be suspended and not banned??

On a side note, happy Ramadam.
