Once again players assume the role of Gordon Freeman, a scientist destined to save the Earth from hordes of gruesome alien attackers. Valve has created a fully realized world in Half-Life 2, with objects and characters that feature accurate physics properties, behaving with the appropriate mass, density, and physical properties of their real-life counterparts. Extremely intelligent computer AI result in enemies that plan, adapt, and respond to the player's actions.

Following on the heels of the similarly-titled next-gen console edition, this package is a near-complete package of the Half-Life 2 phenomenon, packed with bonuses in addition to the genre-expanding original Half-Life 2 game. Half-Life 2: Episode One and Episode Two add-on levels are also on the disc, as are the stunningly complex puzzle game Portal and the online phenomenon Team Fortress 2

Includes:
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2: Episode One
Half-Life 2: Episode Two (new)
Team Fortress 2 (new)
Portal (new)

does anybody know if an update has sorted out the frame rate issues I have heard about? or are the FR issue stories all balony...? I really want Portal..

Seems a good price to me :) Reading the reviews on it, the frame rate issues seem to have been slightly over exadgerated.

Thanks for the post, I have been waiting for it to go to a sensible price!!!!!!

Don't worry mate the frame rate issue is a load of baloney I got this elsewhere for £25 and its absolutely fantastic especially Team Fortress I’d pay £22.99 alone for that game. Trust me you won’t be disappointed voted HOT!!.

Review on Gamespot:
http://uk.gamespot.com/ps3/action/halflife2episode2/review.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=gssummary&tag=summary;review

I've ordered this myself, I think it's worth getting even if there are the odd frame rate issues.

game.co.uk here http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Action/FirstPersonShooter/~r332615/HalfLife-2-The-Orange-Box/
has given some good rating to it:thumbsup:

bought this the other week at 34.99.

great price!

super super hot!

All quality games though the PS3 version is in 3rd place, 1st PC, 2nd 360 and this is frame rate issues if you put the ps3 version against the 2 others and you will notice that its pretty bad in places. I still get the Sony rep saying to plug it even after this time.

Taking this aside though well worth buying just for TF2.

sweet deals!

Gonna get rid of assassins creed for this :D

this should of been front page hours ago, I posted it myself when I didn't see it come up in the search results.

I can't stand this game to be honest. I bought it for a lot more than this ages ago because I heard Team Fortress was amazing. After playing Gears of War, I wouldn't bother. However, a gtood price, voted Hot on the deal

IMHO - Gears of War - Well overated!

Frame rate is absolutely perfect. I understand it may not be on episode 2 but I've not quite got there yet.

Portal is amazing, worth the price of admission alone.

Ive got this, there are point where frame rates pop drop a bit and the games lags slightly but it doesnt detract you from the game in the slightest in my opinion, ive played games on my PC in the past which have lagged even worse!

Its annoying that they couldnt transfer the game to the PS3 wthout these issues (stupid EA) but its still a fantatsic buy, especially at this price!! Voted Hot!

Great game(s), great deal!

As Stelph said, there are one or two areas when the framerate drops - but it's like 5 seconds worth of gameplay and is seriously not an issue unless you have no life/collect wooden aircraft for a hobby.

At last. Been waiting for this sort of price.
Gettin it now.
Thanks
