HL2 is quite simply the greatest FPS of all time. With some of the most pant filling enemies ever. NOTHING in videogames comes close to the panic you feel when faced with a black headcrab and it jumps at you. Or even worse, the zombie with a load of them hanging off them. Even the squeaky noise they make has you firing off bullets willy nilly.

The fact that HL2 is almost six years old and has never yet had anything that comes close to it. Add the 2 expansion packs, Team Fortress and Portal and it becomes an absolutely superb package.

Portal - best single player experience of all time.

It's good but I wouldn't go that far.

That may be, but only if you played it on PC. On the Xbox it is different. The controls aren't as responsive, the graphics don't look as nice (on PC you can set the graphics to high res and there are even mods to make half life HD) and the loading screens get really annoying. At best this game is an average FPS on Xbox but I agree that on PC it is one of the best first person shooters of all time.

The other 2 games (Portal and Team Fortress 2, not episode 1 and 2) are excellent on Xbox and at this price it is a must buy just for those 2 games.

Personally I would say that the original Bioshock is superior to Half Life 2 but it's a question of personal choice I suppose.

Don't get me wrong though, HL2 is fantastic and this is a great deal since Portal: Still Alive will cost almost as much as this alone if you buy it from XBLA.

Bioshock is a wonderful experience until you come to the horrible tagged on bit where you lose your plasmids and its all random along with your health depleting. Thats a deal breaker and ruins the game.

Personally there are half a dozen FPS games that I can think of that are better than Bioshocked (including the 10 year old System Shock 2 that it pays its homage to) but as you say its all about opinions.

This is hot. I have it for PC and it's brilliant. Well worth buying even if it's just to play through Portal and hear the song at the end!
£12 for 3 awesome games (plus the HL2 addons)

Only if you play it whilst eating cake.

Game is a pale imitation of the PC version, does team fortress still only have about 3 maps on the 360 ? And about 2 game modes ?

this was a triumph...

If you have the option, get this on the PC. Significantly better.

It's an infinity of fun either way, though.
