I'm sure a lot of people should already have this game but for those who haven't, 65p is pretty cheap for an awesome game.

£0.78 inc tax if paying by paypal

That's inflation for you - blame the labour government!

This runs through Steam, to answer a post ^ up there somewhere. You can back up files from Steam for future use, but it still needs Steam to play.

You play the game via Steam but you can backup your games to CD or DVD to save downloading them again

Is this the original game from 1998!!!
Jeeez, I think my computer ran on coal back then!
A bit dated to say the least but for 68p I guess it's a good deal. I mean, what else can you get for 68p these days. Good game if you're on a low spec machine or even if you just fancy a trip down memory lane.
Have some heat op.

I'm still waiting on the Black Mesa mod for HL2 to come out :(

I really hope this comment was in jest.

Do you know what inflation is? It means prices go up over time. If you think that 65p (excluding the effects of 10 years of inflation) is higher than the £30+ price that Half Life was when it came out, then you probably should vote Tory, seen as you have the intellect to match.
#24
Low inflation is great LOL.
Excellent game remember playing this back in the xmas of 1998. Was a real ground breaker.
#25
I have this on CD somewhere. For this price I'll grab a "take anywhere" steam copy, though. Now what about releasing HL Source? There's one I *haven't* played. Heat and Rep added. :)
#26
One of the all time greats , just not a fan of these steam downloaded games , voted hot stll .

You have to have the steam program running to play this game. Steam will let you create a desktop shortcut that launches steam then launches the game so apart from steam remaining running in your system tray afterwards you can treat it as a normal program.

Steam is a combination games launcher/online store/friends list. It's not the best example of program design but at least it's stable enough these days.

Half Life... Is nothing special but a lot of people seem to think it is. At 76p it's probably worth finding out if you're one of them.

If only you could post on every thread with your intellectual opinions and educational info.

Of course I am only writing this in jest just the same as the post you were referring to, with your oh so wonderfully informative retort.

Well of course it was in jest, but well done for making yourself look stupid over what was clearly a joke :)
