Just found this deal when I doing my Geocreies shopping, Its reduce from £89.00
to £44.50.

I bought a chair for me a month ago, its cost me 40 quid, but this one is look better than the one Im sitting now. Not likely to buy a new one, but hope help some one looking for a comfortable chair.

The Babylon home office chair is a black executive chair for working at home.
For style and comfort, this swivel chair has a leather faced finish and the metal arms are also partially wrapped in black leather. Seat height is gas lift adjustable on this office chair. The chrome plated metal base has wheels for ease of use.

I agree, not too pretty, but bought one £37.50 pick up from store, good enough for putting where it won't be on display.

bear in mind this will be a heavy item:!:

Just ordered mine.

Thanks for that, I have had my eye on this chair for a while but didn't want to pay £89 so getting it for £37.50 delivered to my local store is a great option.

I know - Gone through a few of them in my time... wish I could find one I can't manage to wreck! With the odd exception, price seems to make NO difference either ;-(

i think the thing to do is not buy leather ones. I bought one from work after they were upgrading the seats 8 years ago and it is still the same. I bought a leather one from tesco last year and the leather has started to come away where it is sewn.

Oh it's not the facing particularly (although the foam and fillings are a bit flat very quickly too) .. it is the mechanism, cheaply made, pressed steel against steel surfaces without any proper bearing or possible adjustment, they creak and bang from new, then it gets slacker and slacker as it wears, until it gets positively dangerous!- not tried one chair (inc. those for 350 quid plus!) that is much different :-( I prefer fixed chairs to be honest, but you can't get moved in a small room with a largish comfortable one, whereas the wheeled recliner type does not get in the way nearly as much, and easier to get in and out of, and better to turn round when sorting things out.

It is a trade off, put up with replcing them often, for the convenience they offer, and when I see one at a good price, I get it, even though the one I have is not QUITE clapped out yet (but is getting there fast!)

Mine arrived today, im not overly impressed with the quality of the leather its very tough to the touch so its going back.

The one im using now is from PCW its extremly good quality and cost £90 , but its worn due to me rubbing it against the wall which is my own fault but its alot more comfy than the TEsco chair

I purchased one of these last time it was a good deal or so I thought it was.

It didn't last long as the 'hydraulic' (or whatever keeps it up) pressure gave way so when someone sits on it now it collapses to the bottom.

Mind you, I was 18 stone at the time :-D

too much hassle to return so I use it as a second chair and my young kid thinks its a magic chair!

These cheap chairs are useless - they simply don't last.
