You can only buy one bottle for £9 in any one transaction of £30+.....so if you spend £60+ then ask the cashier to split the bill so you can buy 2...pay for each transaction separately. Thats the only way to do it as the till only lets the cashier do the offer once on a transaction.

I drank two of the 70cl bottles of mint bailey's last night, very nice stuff! shame about the hangover :-( might have to get some more in :-)

Good but I think this deal is better here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/516583/baileys-mint-liqueur-70cl-only-4-99

As long as they've got stock and you like the mint one of course.

Not great....towards Xmas this is sold for a tenner with no stipulations, remember last year Tesco went £8 for this one weekend to beat the sainsburys £10 quid offer
#12
Yeah, well £9 is a £1 less than the £10 last year. Okay you need to buy £30 worth of shopping to get it - but £30 isn't all that much in my opinion. And based on the current selling prices then this is good - as lots of the deals are usually on the various flavours instead of the original version. :)

Yes, its good if you regularly do a big shop

Ooh will defo be going for this next week!! I've already bought a bottle of Mint flavour from Sainsburys' but I'm a sucker for Baileys at Christmas!!!
#15
very tempted :) love this stuff

It's good if you normally shop at Tesco's but we find Asda is a lot cheaper so you'd probably end up spending as much as what you're saving just by switching your allegiances to Tesco.
#17
Didn't Tesco sell 1L Bailys for £8 per bottle before Xmas last year?

yes hold on for similar offers!

The wife loves Baileys, but one glass is more than enough for me. I find it too heavy and sickly sweet - top offer though.

If there's plenty of stock they may have to put them on offer later if we don't cave in straight away. :whistling:

There's no trust needed, its pretty obvious, this deal is mainly aimed at tesco shoppers and shoppers who spend more than £30 a week on their shopping and would like a bottle of discounted baileys.

When was a litre bottle of Bailey's ever £18? Typical supermarket mark it up to full rrp and then discount it to think that you are getting an even bigger bargain than you actually are.

Must be getting close to christmas........hot, nice with ice.

Tesco seem to be getting greedy and doing a lot of this recently. Last week I saw some wine I'd bought at £3.99 a few weeks ago had been marked up to £8.99. Of course they can then discount this to 'half price' but in effect charge more than they did before.

When you combine this with Tesco charging different prices in their stores for the same item depending on the perceived wealth of the locality, it makes some of their 'offers' very difficult to justify.

"Ever drunk Baileys through a shoe?"
*one for the Boosh fans out there*

Never been that struck on it but the other half likes it, I call it battery acid and chocolate!

Can't actually see this online yet?

Answer ... since Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Waitrose and Morrisons made it £18 the full regular selling price. I know what you mean but doing a search for last years offers on Baileys it was £17.49 RRP at Sainsburys last year. So Baileys has always been about £18 full price since last year at least.

It's on my online store....the image is still the DVD for £8 WYS £20 from last week - but if you click on it then it's actually the Bailey's offer. They can't have updated the image yet. :)

Got this last night too - was well worth it! :) I know you need to spend the £30 - but with Christmas coming up I didn't find it too difficult. You can buy non-food items I believe and it still contributes to the £30 - so it doesn't need to be all food.
#35
Just back from my local Tesco .....the offer INCLUDES the price of the Bailey's @ £18 !!!!

I just got 4 bottles by doing 4 seperate transactions ....

BARGAIN !!! :-D
