As most of there stuff is 200% over price. That only brings it down to were it should be to start any ways. So not so hot for me :(

Who sells real jewellery at a better price than Argos? Is it H Samuels, or maybe Goldsmiths, or perhaps Tiffany?
Or is it you local pawnbroker Cashconverters?
Do you really expect anyone to sell you jewellery at the cost/scrap price?
This is a good deal. A big thanks to gibblesuk!

Deals a deal. Get on with it. No room for snobbery here.

I was thinking exactly the same. ;)

Yes half price is better, that is obvious... but still doesn't make it good value at half price.
Nobody is expecting gold at scrap price, but that is the other end of the spectrum and hardly a good or feasible option.
Not snobbery at all, I'm up for a bargain, but their deals aren't bargains IMO.

i think you are right and i agree Argos pricing on bling isnt competitive - i was hoping to draw attention to the promo in case anyone was thinking of buying these items which many do over the festive period.

Best served with a full carat of Cubic Zirconia for maximum effect :D

The ring in the pic is 0.5 carat of diamond for £149.99...which I bought for £134.99 last month.

Cheap - yeah. But, and I'm sure we'll have a chemist in here to correct me, 9 carat gold is 9 carat gold.

diamond is pointless in a 9ct gold. it deserves to be in at least 18ct gold.
#16
Why stop at 18?

If you spend over £50 on jewellery or watches at Argos you get a further 20% off (on top of existing offers) by using code 'JINGLE20'

Great post, Merry Christmas.

Dear OP
You were trying. Thanks for that. The deal, however, is lukewarm. Cheap jewellery is a bad deal at any price

I got a pair of earings for the mrs, so I'm glad you posted as I hadn't heard of this deal.
Heat added and keep posting if you find a deal, don't let the moaning minnies on here put you off

Troll when you know what you're talking about. We had an argos diamond earring appraised recently to replace its missing pair, and the jeweller was genuinely amazed by the quality of the diamond - had no idea it was argos... Would have cost 12 times its cost to replace.

Plank.

Someone you gave money to lied to you to make you happy?
I'm absolutely shocked
