My son is nearly 3 and has one in his room for watching his thomas videos, he very rarely watches it. I don't put it on at bed time etc because that would be starting a bad habit. Suppose its good to have, as long as its not used as their main daily activity if you know what i mean lol

All kids are 7+ and will not have telly's in their rooms, even less family time then IMO

Each to their own tho

Hiya this is very hot!

Just wondering if you managed to find a tv for your son?
i just recently got my son a 14inch lcd dvd combi with freeview box from ebay seller: electrical-deals
only cost me £72 including delivery! now i thought that was a bargain:-D

(that was on auction but he does have them on buy it now too think its about £109 that way tho)

New to this so please bear with me but if you add another kids toy (a cheap cheap one but MUST be a toy) to take it to the £100 then there is a code to reduce it by a further £20 and on top of that there is also a discount code for delivery....Hope it all makes sense the codes are below.

£20 off = TOY1108PVE
Free Delivery = EFD10

my daughter would love that tv!! But she's too young!

Personally I think 3 is too young. My daughter is 5 and i wont let her have one but that's just my personal choice! Too many kids don't spend enough time with their parents and i think being shut in their room with a tv wont help that!

But as I say, that's personal choice, a lot of my friends' children have tv's in their rooms and they are the same age as my girls.

same here thats what i done not bad for tv and dvd so good package, just wondered does anyone know if they are still doing the free voucher for £10 when you spend over £100???
#24
Presumably these have analogue tuners - which will be useless in a couple of years unless used with a set-top box.
You could get a one like this with a digital tuner (i.e.Freeview) for about £120 - £130 - without the pikie looks too!

Yet another great deal from Argos, apart from the fact that you cant find any available anywhere as usual!!

I'ld vote hot if I had ever managed to find an Argos with stock of anything on this site.

why need this is stock when you can have for home delivery free?!?!?

Maybe it's a case of loads of them back at the warehouse but don't want to ship out to individual stores. Better to just make them avaialable for delivery.

Well my daughter has had a TV in her room since she was about 2 she is now almost 7, which she watche all her all her Video and DVDs on when i truly got fed up of watching them with her. I always said that she wouldn't have one but as long as you as the parent monitors the on and off switch i see no problems, you will only run into problems if you have no control
