Then another half price sale next weekend:?
#2
Yeah, I've never seen DFS actually have 'full prices'.
#3
Is this the Boxing Day sale from 2001 that has been going to finish on Sunday?
But they never say which Sunday

Seriously though, isn't there a new law against these misleading sales?

No, that's the law against laws.

I wouldn't even buy a cup of coffee from DFS; they'd find some way to feck it up. Complete assclowns flogging shady quality furniture.

The advert that claimed they didn't have many sales made me laugh, I think it's because they don't have many as it's just 1 big one!

Items must have been sold at a higher price for 28 consecutive days in the previous six months...

So that means they can get new items in for a month, and say charge £3600 for a leather sofa :whistling: , then put it on sale...

Remember they may offer 3 or 5 years interest free... but effectively charge you for the interest on the over inflated price of the sofa in the first place.

If you buy in the half price sale, do you get the choice of which half of the sofa you want?

Doesn't matter, both halves are rubbish
#31
I was watching a programme and they featured about the sofa shops.

What they do is that they have the names of sofas and the 'full price' in a book for a while before the 'sale' so they are actually offering them for sale at full price before halving the price for the sale. That's how they get away with it.

Doesn't seem to matter that the full price sofas in the book are never on display until they reach the sale price and no customers are aware of such a book.
