Hot but sainsburys is miles away for me, bum chum :(

Linda McCartney is the best brand for veggie sausages. I'm on my way.
#7
Prefer Quorn meself. Find these a bit on the dry side. Love the pies though!

These have been BOGOF for a couple of weeks now, I guess that wasn't going very well so it's now 1/2 price! Excellent.

I did see this yesterday, although strangely the sausages were still BOGOF. Not really a problem as I go through a lot of them anyway.

I'm not a veggie but do like to eat some veggie products as I hate fatty foods, I brought several of Linda's meals, sausages, pies.... & ended up binning em as they all left a greasy film on the roof of my mouth yuk! Good buy for peeps who like her stuff though, just not for me. I Wonder if they use vegetable oil in em?
Should have checked before binning em I guess.

Veggie sausages are gross.....like eating dried up dog food.

Had some nice 'chicken' and blueberry escalopes, can't remember if they were LM or Quorn though...

Some of the Quarn ones are, but the LM ones are awsome!

Yes, completely agree. The Quorn sausages are normally hard.

Some people like some things, others like others shocker :w00t:

It's all in the cooking. Veggie stuff doesn't need cremating like meat, just warming through, very easy to overdo it.
#18
I find it strange they dont say linda mcCartney's sausages rather than linda mcCartney sausages leaves you wondering who/what is actually in the sausages.
#19
I'm not a veggie but finding gross cartilage in sausages makes me wretch, so I've tried the quorn ones and these. Didn't like the quorn ones, really like the Linda McCartney ones. May well try some of the other products now that they're not so pricey!

These used to be absolutely vile when they stuck closer to Linda McCartney's original recipe, since they changed the recipe they have improved. However they still don't taste that brillant cold and they are heaving with fat.

They weren't reduced in the two Sainsbury's I weant in today

That's the key.

The sausages do go very dry very quickly if you overcook them. If they're done properly though (i.e. before they start browning on the outside) then they're delicious.
