i think the voucher code is expired, did anyone use it today? did it go thru'?

Awesome deal! Extremely good quality kit. My Driving Force is now 6 years old and still going strong
#9
Ooh, just got Dirt2 on PC, this would certainly be better than my mouse/KB, haha.

H+R added.

Just ordered - no idea why I need this but looks cool and cant resist a bargain.
The voucher Plan09 takes £5off a £50 spend but it only takes it off the item you add to make it up to £50 in total. So I added Save the last Dance boxset and got £5.00 taken off the boxset cost. If you only add £1 it seems to only take away that and doesnt apply the remaining £4 discount to the wheel......
#11
I have this wheel and its very good. People will rabbit on about getting a G25 instead but at this price that just cant compete.
#12
I know I can only blame Microsoft, but it's such a shame this isn't 360 compatible.
It's still tempting to buy one in case I buy a PS3 when GT5 comes out :)
#13
Great price, soooo tempting!

Is the shifter on the right hand side of the UK version???

looks like dead for me as well

Just tried the voucher and you need to make order up to at least £55 to get the £5 off - still a great deal without the voucher.

Just look at the 'PLANW09' voucher as £5 off anything £5 or above once you've bought the wheel! You might as well add a dvd and get it free - that's the other halfs xmas present sorted :whistling:

Can someone suggest a a good driving game for my 13 year old. It will be his first driving game. I dont mind crashing and all that but dont want him to have to rob a bank of shoot people from the car if you get my drift.
Thanks

Great Deal ordered mine already added the voucher but said NO to that!!

But the best price I have seen anywhere in a long long time heat added
Thanks:-)

Refuse to buy this on the principle that they've put the gear stick on the wrong side. :-D

Nope it won't you use poor controller tech on the wii (i.e a plastic fascia).

Nice wheel and good price, but if you plan on using it much, the G25 at just over double the price is really worth it. The G25 is all the racing wheel you will ever need (unless of course you have a 360!!!) A clutch + h shifter + better quality force feedback is worth the extra imo. But if you really can't stretch to the G25, this is good. But still, if you can get G25, you will not be disappointed at all.
#27
Thanks Adam, i had a hunch it wouldnt. Damn Wii!

Still very good for PS3 methinks

Votes hot - I'm seriously tempted, problem is mounting it somewhere for a PS3 - not sure I want to fork out hundreds on a gaming chair. Any suggestions for a cheaper alternative that wouldn't look too bad when not in use and tucked away in one corner of my living room?
#29
Been contemplating this wheel for a while now and with GT5 around the corner and this price too, it's a must have!

Although EVERY deal on here is a "must have" !! Bloody place is costing me a fortune!!! :x

A demo for GT5 will be out December 17, 2009 on the PlayStation Network. It will feature stock and tuned versions of the Nissan 370Z. The included track will be either the Indianapolis Road Course or Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

Looks like you wont have to wait as long as you thought to play a bit of Gran Turismo 5 :)
Can't wait for this demo
#31
how's the force feedback in the G25 better than that in this wheel? I agree with the leather\steel and the proper H shifter, but better feedback??
#32
Is the G25 still available? I thought it was replaced by the G27?

Ironing board.
#34
Vouchers expired now - just went through checkout with the same order as earlier and the code is rejected as it has expired. Still a bargain though - you just aren't getting £5 off something you probably don't really want anyway!!!!

Ironing board.

This. Height adjustable, every home has one, very stable, easily hideable afterwards ;-)
#36
I suspect if I attempted to use the ironing board I'd experience some very real force feedback.
#37
Just ordered one with Need for Speed: Shift and used the voucher PLARBS09 - worked !!

Thanks ... heat added !

Problem is that it would prevent the ironing being done whilst I'm gaming :whistling:

Get her to do it on a towel on the floor - obvioulsy not in the same room as you wouldn't want her putting you off when she keeps getting up and down to hang it up

Just got off the phone talking with play, apparently despite showing as IN STOCK it actually will be available WITHIN THE NEXT 4-5 DAYS.
If anyone gets it sooner, can you confirm it here please.
