Why the Cold Votes? Show me somewhere you could get any of it at a similar price

Insanely hot.

The G5 is a quality mouse, best I've owned so far. Well worth the £40 I paid for it a couple of months after it was released. £15 is a steal.

The G15 is also a very, very nice keyboard - I bought mine way back just after release for £35 before it went up to the usual £40-60. It's certainly worth £25.

Link doesn't go to the items.

Edit: Ignore me, I'm blind.

is the v1 Logitech G15 **** compared to the v2?? :?:
#17
I have the V2, paid £52 for it 5 months ago. Nothing special but for this price its a deal.

the V1 has a bigger LCD screen. The V2 is actually quite small for a keyboard. Compare it to the other £50 ones and its one of the smallest.

V1 better?
#19
I have the V1 keyboard and think it is better than the V2 - it has blue backlit keys etc Vs orange of V2 and has more G keys (programable keys) and as mentioned is larger and has a larger flip out lcd screen Vs small built in lcd on V2.

I prefer the new one as its not as wide - wont fit on my desktop otherwise!

can you hide the screen?
#22
V1 is better all the way. Yes its bigger, but has more buttons, a larger LCD, plus its blue!

On a more technical note, i believe the original v1 could accept more multiple key presses than the v2 for some reason.

I broke my V1 and went for a different keyboard as couldn't get one anywhere locally for love nor money! If only I had a staples near me i'd probably buy 2...

Having used the G15 v2 for the last 6 months, and paying over £60 for it, I must say it's actually quite **** for gaming with. Looks great on the desktop and everyone who see's it will comment on it, but i find usability is very poor.
#24
got a g5 gaming moue from scan for £25. best invetmnet i ever made, this mouse is so smmoth and responsive i had a mx600 optical and this is way better, get it you wont be disappointment,
#25
I have the G5 mouse and i cannot say i have ever used a better mouse.

Onto the keyboards, I had V1 for two years. In that time the same fault happened twice - media keys broke and stayed pressed in all the time. I was also a massive keyboard. The LCD hinge was poor quality and was very flimsy on the first one. On the second return i got the v2 as v1 was no longer in stock. V2 is brilliant. All buttons are solid and the overall size is small and perfect. The amount of hotkeys on the v2 is better, less keys which is better as there were far too many on the v1.

For those prices i would go out and get only the mouse. V1 is good though for that price but any more and it is wasted imo.

If you like to do things differently try some other mouse. Might not be a gaming mouse but it sure is very good at it. Microsoft Intellimouse series. Big, reliable, good dpi. Goes on eBay for under 12£.
#27
can confirm they had the mice cheap in shirley, but no G15's, only G11's for ~£25
#28
I have g15 keyboard and it is brilliant i even spilt a pint of squash into it and it still works. Nuff said, Voted hot.

Hanley store

no G15 but alot of G11s & G5s
#30
Think the OP must have been confused... a wasted journey for me too.
G11 is the exact same keyboard as G15 but without the lcd....easy mistake to make i suppose but not very helpful.

Cheers anyway.

The G5's are on offer as I managed to get one from the Edinburgh store . They had a special Logitech display set up with the G5 and I think the G11 .
