Outstanding value-machine washable single breasted 2 button suit . Only in beige.
I bought one from my local store and it's actually quite a nice colour! Loads of sizes and different lengths in store.

First post so hope I've done it right

Did you say its this price instore? May go pic one up for a wedding Saturday.

I ordered 2 of these for OH a few weeks back when they were on special before. I sent them back as the material was very cheap and just didnt hang right. OH wears them alot so just wouldnt of been suitable but should be ok for an occasional wedding or interview?

Ordered, total order was £79.50, but could not get £10 off voucher working, is it for clubcard holders only?
#11

100% polyester suits always feel cheap and look cheap.
This suit is a mixture of polyester and viscose rayon which is another synthetic shiny material and will also feel and look cheap.
#13
They hardly ever have 35 length inside leg in anywhere but their outlet stores. £3.50 standard delivery online.

I was going to post the same thing.

These suits are cheap but polyester so will look cheap too. Probably not good for an interview :)

Gone for one plus added 2 packs of boxers to get it to £30 and used FREEDELV code for free delivery. Will be going back if I dont like it.

So you're poor because you don't have a job and can't get a job because you're poor. Ho hum

I thought the idea of a suit was to look smart.

No machine washable suit will EVER hang right.

In time for Guy fawks tho.
#18
We dry clean all suits- wouldn't fancy getting a suit to look good after it's been through the washer. The suit does actually look surprisingly ok for the price.

Which price are you talking about here, the sale price of £24 or original price of £50?
#20
To make it up to £30 for free delivery, they have still got the error on the crease resistant trousers (Under casual trousers section) reduced to £9 a pair, but order two pairs and get £10 off, it takes the £10 off at final checkout, So got a suit and then two pairs of trousers for £32 delivered
#21
Both- think I'd have bought it at full price!:)

How can a beige jacket and black/charcoal trousers look "good for the price"?!

Am I missing something in the fashion world?
#24
ive been looking for 100 wool suits from m&s to be reduced but just cannot find them !!! Grrrrr

they don't, thats why you choose the matching pair
#26
ordered the charcoal version when it was £60 - material was nasssteeee! Very shiny, looked like it would pick up static. Sent it straight back. Good price now, but you really do get what you pay for.
#27
i bought a couple of these suits in navy and black and sent them both back, rubbish quality, very shiny and looked awful, hate to say it but the tesco one's are a much better look and fit (for those on a budget!). wouldn't even wear them for an interview.

i paid the £15 for the jackets and £9 for the trousers and still feel that was a lot for a load of tat!
#28
I kept mine but will only be used for work or non important stuff.
The trousers aren't too bad but the jacket isn't great. I prefer double breasted too, but its out of fashion.
#29
I was thinking of getting one of these tomorrow but all the comments have put me off.

Where is best to get a suit on a similar budget?

Tesco?

i found tesco to be pretty good for suits, try and stay away from the value one's though, they are similar to marks one's. best to try and get a suit in the sale (obviously!), normally get 2/3 rds off, you can buy a couple of pairs of trousers too...

Can I throw in my two pennyworth on the issue of the quality of the suit. I ordered the navy suit when last on offer but was slightly put off by the posts on how cheap and nasty they look, however when it arrived I was very pleased with the suit. for the price I don't think you can go wrong. I have a number of suits for work which I wear daily including pure wool and suits costing upwards of £180. Yes these suits are not as good as my expensive suits but I am more than happy to wear them and nobody in my office could believe the suit was only £24 and nobody has commented that the suit looks cheap and nasty. Before you make comment and say 'well of course they won't comment, they don't want to offend you' I work in an office enviroment where there is endless banter and they wouldn't care about offending someone over the quality of their suit. Thats me done..........
#33
Can anyone confirm these are in store? I'll go and look tomorrow, I can't make my mind up from the contrasting views. :)
#34
I saw them instore earlier today, that was the Argyle St, Glasgow store. They had loads of jackets but not many trousers left. If you like the look of it instore and they don't have your size you could always come home and order online.
#35
Erm gone bit expensive now. But that's cus the stock has decreased so comes to about £50 odd if you choose something nice..i.e. charcoal. But still works out great! Nice deal  Voted Hot!
#36
That's a good point, thanks. I'll pop in to the Manchester on tomorrow and see what they have. Unfortunately I think I'll be one of the most common sizes. I suppose I could spend a few hours in the McDonalds down the road and buy one of the larger sizes.

Delhi

ahem;...!

Seriously though, you could get two or three hand-made suits fit for a king in the backstreets of Delhi for this price. That's my plan (when i can afford it..!)

anyways, good find; deal voted hot

The beige suit is very good for the price, nice material. I have seen the black on in store totally different material looks cheap.

As far as I know it was always only the beige that was on the deal.

If you buy this you'll have fun in the winter.
You'll be picking up static left right and centre!
Polyester is pretty naff for a suit.
