Completely agree with herby! However, a good deal if you don't!

Would have agreed a whole ago. Bought one for £75 just before Xmas and had to return it 4 times because each one was faulty. From the superdry shop too.
#7
Great coats in my opinion had one for 2 years no problems at all, got another one when someone posted this deal before

does anyone know what the sizes are like? true to size or do they run big or small? Looking at the women's ones they say a large is a UK14.

I have always found Superdry stuff really high quality, with thick warm materials used.

Their original prices are still way too high for me, but these prices are what I would consider paying for a good coat.

Not sure about women's but with men's you have to get a size up, I'm medium but with these I get large

I have had at least four coats from their stores, all faulty they literally fall to pieces in a few months, worst coats ever! It was the windcheater one I had, it wasn't very warm either.

Always buy one size larger than u would normally.
This is true for Superdry tshirts, hoodies and jackets.

Well they should be spot on as they are an English company.

I like a lot of the Superdry clothing but just wish the logo was more discrete or better still non-existent.

That's a surprise seeing as they are English....

Bought a coat from them for ~£120 a couple of months ago, best coat i've owned.
Looks great, great material and had no faults at all.

Depends on your outlook but £70 is certainly not overpriced for a quality coat.

You've had 4 faulty coats? So when the 1st was faulty you got another then another and another, use your brain I would say lol

Superdry are a good brand. The coats are durable and last for ages. Ignore the haters who just say "your paying for the name" etc.

Just because i can afford to spend £100+ on a coat makes me a snob? I feel sorry for you ;)

I'm a 10(but like roomy clothes so usually get a 12) so i'll get the bigger then, thanks

Today's most ridiculous comment , what well known brand are you not paying for the label ?

If you compare Superdry coats with other similarly priced "technical" outer layers then there's absolutely no comparison - they are fashion oriented and substantially inferior in every way. That said, not everyone wants to look like they're about to go ice climbing but personally speaking, I prefer to stay dry and warm ;-)

I'm not a huge fan mostly because of their returns policy in their own stores (how many other major high-street retailers don't accept returns these days?) and because I believe that you can better value for money elsewhere. That said, these look like decent prices so perhaps worth a sniff for those that like the brand.

Quite possibly, I always have a laugh when people wear these with their prominent shoulder logo's. Having said that, I have bought the blue one for the son, on this particular jacket I can see where some of £57 has gone and wouldn't say it was a lot more expensive than a comparable item.

Don't buy it then!

Aren't they always half price or less on ebay super dry store?

Iv got to agree with both arguments about superdry coats, I bought the 'Arctic' parka 2 months ago for 130 quid. The weight and warmth of the coat is at the price point I'd expect for the quality.

On the flip side, The buttons on Every pocket and the four down the coat to fasten it up are held on with non existent thread, Which has resulted in all but one hanging literally by the thread. This is with very little wear on my breaks at work.

Sizing is really small or rather highly optimistic!!! I have a large and would say im a 'Next' size 10.... or 12 if I want things roomy, so defo go for a large :)

May someone advise on other brands that are better quality for similar cost or same quality for lover cost? Personally had no problems with their products, though I prefer not to buy the cheapest bit on the line. I do like their styles as well yet I agree that logo should be more discrete. Making everyone aware what brand you wear is not a sign of great taste...

They sell lines from several years back that literally won't sell but these costs have been full price until the sale today
#34
Good prices but terrible looking jackets IMO.
#35
I hold the same opinion as most other commenters on here. Most Superdry stuff is grossly overpriced for the quality you get. It's a shame really, because the styling is brilliant, but the quality is p*** poor. That applies to their jackets and the vast majority of their T Shirts.

their branding is horrendously garish. I've got a superdry voucher that I'm struggling to use, ya see something in there that looks nice until you pick it up and there's a massive logo down the arm or across the back, think I'm gonna have to settle on some jeans just to get the voucher spent

Chavtastic! do you get the mandatory baseball cap also?

agree with that, this is the only thing that stops me buying superdry stuff.

I'm not sure it's snobbish buying it but probably more money than sense. I have the money and have one coat that cost me over £400 several years ago.
However, I bought a trespass coat for £27 reduced from £100 and it is excellent. It is warm, totally dry and windproof and that is walking my dog in recent force 9 gales for over 40 minutes.
So spend the money if you want to show off the label although why you would want to I really don't know.
