#3

#5
Have just placed order using code and its has come up as full price - not half price:?
#6
Thanks for that-worked for me!!
#7
Plus £3.95 for delivery as it is under £35
#8
To ensure you get this at half price, you have to enter the code in "product find" - otherwise it comes up at full price. I had to ring customer services to find out why it hadnt worked!

Just if anybody wants to know I have one of these chairs and they are far better than the usual rubbish. Glide around like a dream compared to most cheap chairs.
#10
I got this chair last time round at this price and i'm sitting on it right now,
Easy to put together,
Not particularly good quality,
Cheap rough leather,
Very comfortable with good lumbar support,
Good for the price, Glad i bought one.
#11
i got this chair, its epic.

for people who have one of these, what are the arm rests like on it? on a chair i bought cheap a few years back the padded arm rests have torn and now there are really sharp bits of metal that stick into your arm sticking through the padding. just wondering what type of material is on these arm rests so the same doesn't happen

I got a cream one last time they were this price (or slightly cheaper). Excellent quality but don't expect the very best of comfort. Arms are pretty good, though lightly padded but don't stick into your arms. Voted hot!

There are certainly some sharp edges on the underside of the arm rests which i've caught myself on a few times, but haven't felt anything but padding on the top side. Picked up one of these when they were £17/18, people never believe me when I tell em how much it was! Haven't looked back since I love it :D

got a cream one and have got to say they are a good quality item
good CS too; sent one back & a replacement delivered next day
#16
Very good chair ... especially for the price

Bought one last time they were in the sale and not regretted it at all
#17
I want to save on the postage, what else is there to buy from this site to reach £35?
#18
Got one last time aswell, the only bad thing is they aren't as tall as you would like, mine only reaches my shoulders and im 6 ft
#19
Looks great, but last time I ordered a chair from Viking, (probably over a year ago) I got a box of bits, far from a whole chair, and it took about 3 weeks to get it returned, and HOURS of phone calls. A bit of a comedy sketch from start to finish, only it wasn't funny. Undoubtedly I was unlucky, but I will never risk the hassles again :-(
#20
i got the cream on a while back for something daft like 11 pound love the chair
#21
Cheers OP, I've been waiting months to get one of these Viking chairs

The arm rests are hard plastic, not padded as some others have said, not having padded arm rests doesn't bother me,
As for someone stating they catch themselves on rough bits under the arms, I have no rough or jagged bits on my chair.
The only rough thing is the low quality leather on the chair face,
I think it's made from the hide from a badgers ar$e :-D

Thanks for this post! Been looking for something like this and as cheap as this for some time...

Seems to be £19.99 if you have a business account with them too so a bit of a bonus if you do.
#29
Does the chair recline?
#30

has anyone found a way of getting the price confirmed with a working code BEFORE placing the order ? I'm nervous of committing a place order without seeing a reduced price. I can't see anywhere to enter the code other than in checkout and just before the place order button.
#34
it's not a discounr code...it's a product code...just SEARCH for the product using this code
#35
I messed up the gift voucher thing - haven't used viking for a while so forgot that you enter the code as a search item as opposed to wait for a voucher code entry field. Anyone know whether viking add codes after you order if you contact them? Are they good with that kind of thing?

Anyway, many thanks to OP for the post, i was desperately looking for a good chair deal for a while as my current one which has served me well for many years (also from viking) is falling apart (much lower quality version). I was considering ordering this chair at full price only about 2 weeks ago!

Excellent stuff :-D

Edit/Update: Very useful livechat feature on their site. They kindly added my free gift to my order. Excellent stuff :-D

Does the chair recline?

These types of chairs usually tilt - it isn't like the more expensive chairs though. You pull out the metal level from underneath, which allows you to rock back and forth, or just sit back. It doesn't lock into position (except in upright position where you CAN lock it), but you can adjust the tension so that you can change how much body weight is required to tilt the chair.

I got a cream one of these last year.Pretty comfortable BUT not the best quality.Chair is a bit wonky and not level and you can almost feel like you are going to fall off it, if you swivel around.BUT for the price it is, you cant expect perfection.
#38
I recently ordered two of these for work - they are ok for the money, but are so springy and wobbly that they make my colleague and myself feel seasick - honestly!

So wouldnt recommend....
#39
ok sorted and ordered, many thanks.

errr - how do i add heat ?
