???? erm , why go to one of the most expensive shops for baby stuff along with mothercare , try ikea they are a hell of a lot cheaper and of good quality too,
we did go to ikea and to be honest the nursery furniture is cheap but it also looks and feels cheap, and also not as solid as this stuff or mammas and pappas. we are hoping to keep this for a few years and then use it again for the next little bundle of expensive joy and i dont think the ikea stuff would last. :)
toysrus cots & furniture are really good we bought a cot 5 years ago from there (in a sale i believe LOL) and it has lasted really well 1st kid in it for just over 2 years and now my son is nearly 2 and half and still in it. would def recommend there stuff.
ALSO if you are going to buy big stuff join their baby club online first & you get sent a catalogue & loads of vouchers, good ones like £10 £20 £30 off big items like cots pushchairs highchairs etc.
thanks for that, will join now!!
I joined their baby club, but didnt get any vouchers :( And i just ordered all my furniture from there!!
We were going to get the cot in Ikea (normally love Ikea) but was so flimsy, just didnt trust it!!!
Thats not a bad price for a good quality cotbed...now you just have to pay for the mattress, lol, expensive indeed!!! I don't know if it's up your street or not but we bought our cotbed off of Gumtree - we paid £80 for it and it's absolutely beautiful! Obviously you have to give yourself time to see what comes up... Gumtree is also useful for other baby items - buying new is so expensive and half of the stuff is only used for a short time. I like the way you can keyword your area and see whats for sale locally

We went to a massive bootsale the other weekend too and I'm kicking myself for not making a few trips before my son was born because there was SO much stuff there at a fraction of the price we paid - gutted!! Ah well....you live and learn ay!

Congratulations btw!! :)
