NB Use code AFD for free delivery if you buy 2+, or reserve to collect in store.

Here's the link to price comparison site:

Plus a £5 voucher (again, if you buy 2) if bought before 16th November, plus Quidco.

If you have voted cold, please could you let me know where I could purchase an original LP-E6 battery for less. Cheers.

More realistic price for a OEM battery!

They appear to be price matching Amazon, given that Argos postage is normally £5.95, and the different between this and the Amazon price is £5.95.

I'm giving Argos the benefit of the doubt for the moment. The only reviewer states that it is an original LP-E6. If it isn't, it's going straight back to the store!

Why won't it be a genuine battery? The webpage states Canon and the full, expensive previous price.
Got free delivery and recieved a code for a £5 (online) shopping voucher (£4 to you ... PM me) for buying 2 batteries, so any Quidco discount will be a bonus.

No, it will be the genuine article. You are right, Canon charges crazy prices for high end camera batteries. For some reason I thought you were suggesting it was a compatible copy. Just feeling a bit sensitive, as I watched the deal voted colder and colder.

Quidco tracked, and I also have a voucher code by email, plus free delivery. All good!
