Always cancel sky when your 12 months is up then go back when they offer 75% off.

Or just get nowtv - all the sky channels pay as you go and far for cheaper especially if you buy the passes on offer or get a cancellation deal each month.
Why people still pay for Sky since they launched nowtv i have no idea.

Currently BT. Appreciate you need broadband for nowtv but given that now tv passes plus broadband still works out cheaper than sky tv don't think it matters.

And you can't record the way you do with sky TV. Appreciate there's other ways to record but you can't beat sky/PVR for ease of use.

You could get the basic sky tv pack with unlimited fibre b/band & use kodi for all the films & box sets

What are you on about, when the deals over if coursebook going to get raised up to full. Cancel like everyone else does and do it a month before your deal ends and wait for them to contact you with new offer or check your online account offers.

I used to have not particularly fast broadband in my previous house (had talktalk simply broadband), pretty sure that used to only get about 3 meg and had no issues but I guess it would be try it and see.

Not sure how that BS.
I pay £10 a month for unlimited Infinity - 54mb broadband.
Paid for line rental saver plus all the other fees that came to £272.
Got £155 quidco and £100 prepaid mastercard.
When that expires I will switch to another provider.

£11.41 for Broadband (inc BT Sport)
£3.16 for entertainment channels
£4.75 for Sky Cinema
(bought nowtv passes with boxes as posted on HUKD to get them that cheap)

So Broadband + all sky channels bar sport for £19.32 per month.

Unless I have missed a different sky offer don't think I could legally do it any cheaper.

if you any more than a maximum of fiver per month to sky then it is not a good deal I am afraid to me.

I did cancel after 12 months but it happens whilst your contract is running the price keeps creeping up and it's hidden in the contract that they can do this

Sky phoned me up and offered me 50% off, I said I was not interested we had them for 75% and did not watch it enough. They they offered it for completely free. To which we said yes, and they sent us a new box and fitted a new satellite dish.

Getting my free DVD this Christmas.

They did say after 12 months it would go up to full price but I could just cancel or see if they could offer me a better deal. I thought they meant a better deal than free, but I think they meant a better deal than full price...

You're right, but Sports is (or was) the deal breaker for me and currently on a fairly low monthly payment. I guess when they inevitably put the price up and lose more football and cricket to BT, I'll definitely drop it and use Now instead.
