i have voted hot, metal handles are the best, can be used in the oven as well.

That makes them more versatile as plastic handles can not be put in ovens.

On hobs, the handles hardly get hot unless they are used for a prolonged time for boiling water with maximum heat, etc. :)

Is this a temporary sale or one of argos' permanent reductions?

I've been using a frying pan/wok in the same fashion for the last 2 years and love it. It's starting to to stick a little now in the middle (red) bit but I must have used the thing at least 500 times so I think it's well worth it. Whether or not you need that kind of thing outside of frying is my major issue?

How do you notify that the deal has expired? The price of this pan set has gone back to the original £79.99 again.
