Yes it is just a chair - some come with speakers etc

Looking at the reviews its supposed to be fairly solid, thinking about getting one for my son but he doesn't have a tv or video game. Does anyone have one? Just wondering if it would be comfortable for reading...

Good price - voting hot....

I'm wondering if its big enough to house me, I'm not a large bloke.

There are plenty of reviews on the Argos site for the product, remember though it's for kids, no good for 12+ I think.

Hot...

But I'm holding out for a deal on one of these with all the bells and whistles.

Sorry not very clear, i mean all it seems to be is a chair, the more expensive ones come with speakers built in and vibrations etc. Although its a great price so you get what you pay for.

After reading some of the reviews on Argos, one said he was 6"3 and suited him well whilst another one said her 17 yeard old son had problems with it. If you are under 6" give it a shot.

The 17 year old son review said that she got it refunded outside of 16 day money back limit as Argos had not specified that taller people would not fit

I might give it a go star. Would be ideal, as I only have a small room, and I'm fed up of sitting on pc chair.
#11
It says 'For ages 4 to 12 years'.

Also, has previously been on sale for £29.99

That's sick :giggle:

I've reserved the £40 one which has speakers, but no vibration. I thought of getting this one, but it is just a chair, though the reviews are good. It does sound like it would be nice for a kid's room, instead of sitting on the floor or bed. Not sure if any of them are going to be that good really.

I cant see where the stirrups would fit...................................

Well someone had to go there

I've had this for about 6 months.

Its very well put together, and folds away nicely. I'm 5"10 and I find it ok.

However, the angle of the neck bit isn't steep enough, so depending on the angle of your TV, you may have to use your neck muscles (which will ache after 30 mins) to support your head rather than lean back or use a cushion behind your head (I do that).

Also, my shoulder blades press against the sides of the top part, which makes it a bit uncomfortable after a bit (esp if using a mousewhere your shoulder blade moves)

For £20 though, its a bargain, and any problems can be got around with a cushion or stuffing a jumper behind.

Thanks for the info. I'm about the same height. So will reserve myself one tomorrow.

thanks ordered one for my 3yr olds bedroom. Better than sitting with back against car bed when reading books at bedtime plus its blue so goes with his room. Also, as he is only about to turn 3 i will get about 10 years use out of it making it cost around £2/ year!:-D

There was something very like this in Home Bargains a couple of weeks ago. I think it was £9.99 and worked only with batteries.
