These are excellent brushes, possibly made for them by hamilton? They have a really nice thick head of bristles, and good weight, which give a really nice finish with both gloss or acrylic wood paint, and cutting in.I have used these for a few years now, and even at £6.99 they are brilliant value, but at half price, there's no excuse for buying cheapo brushes!.Forget brand snobbery, these aren't Purdy's, but they really are professional quality. You get a set of three. . . 1" , 1½ , and 2" which are really the only sizes most people need for woodwork painting around the home.
100% pure bristle. Rustproof brushed stainless steel ferrule. Extra long and thick for faster coverage. Classic wooden handle.
Available online, and instore (had plenty of stock in Aylesbury branch)
*UPDATE* Wilkinsons actually have 50% off quite a lot of their decorating equipment, including other brush sets, so make sure you get these, and aren't tempted by the even cheaper sets, which will be false economy.Worth looking at their other items though.
