42 degrees? Even if that's fahrenheit, it's still warmer that Blackpool Pleasure Beach on 13th February :giggle:

A few (few!!!) years back, me, my bruvver, my sister, our respective other halves and about half a dozen mates (and theirs) went up to the Pleasure Beach for a weekend in March. It was freezing, the rain was horizontal and the B&B shut it's doors at 10.30 (and served curry for breakfast!); but for some reason that now escapes me completely, we all had a brilliant time.

Highly recommended (but NOT as a Valentine's weekend for the one you love).

I love Blackpool pleasure beach, but I think it has gone downhill in the last few years to be honest, and now all of the shows have been cancelled etc. Alton Towers every day of the week for me.

Hot deal though!

Did it not used to be 50p a ride on the first 4 weekends? (to test the rides out I hear if you die you get your money back)

I am a long time user of the pleasure beach.

Just be aware that NORMALLY they only have half the rides open early on in the season.
