My brothers a panel beater and has a few Snap On ones and i've always wanted onebut could never justify paying for a SnapOn. However this will do the job, Order and reserved.

I have one of these and it is very good. The drawer slides are not ball bearing and at first are very stiff and disappointing. However after a bit of spray grease, then working back and forth (to get rid of the paint that is jamming the slides) they are smooth and a pleasure to use.
Bought mine last year for the same price in the run up to Christmas.

Thanks for the info. I was just looking at tool boxes on ebay but this will suit me fine. Picking it up tomorrow.

Well the extra £10 isn't shabby, but remember Halfords has one of these sales every 3 months, so £60 is the normal price.

On the Quidco home page there is a link at the bottom 'In-store cashback'. You register your card (debit or credit) and get automatic cashback on in-store purchases. You don't even have to use the click and reserve, just walk in and spend.

Thanks OP - shame the chimps at Halfords had managed to put a great big dent in the one that I reserved (last one in the shop!)

i was going to get one of these but the quality just isnt there when u have been used anything better, but good for diy when you dont want to be spending 200-300 for the halfords pro or industrial stuff (or more for kennedy or snap on etc)

Did they discount it further?

Did they discount it further?

they offered to, but the dent was in the centre of the top, so it had broken the joints on two of the corners and caused the front to deform - wasn't something I was happy to live with - looked as if they had dropped something (probably another tool chest) on top - it had torn the cardboard but wasn't obvious until I took the poystyrene packing out....

Got one of these a while ago when they where on offer. It doe the job and is large enough to hold all most of my tools. nice to be able to pull my tool chest out to the car whenever I need to.
#26
I reserved one but the quality leaves a lot to be desired, very flimsy and not that big .... decided to leave it alone :(
#27
ordered thanks have some heat ;)
#28
reserved mine yesterday and got a call from the store to say it was the last one and was a bit battered so I could have it for £30, said I'd call in today to see it, all's wrong with it is a few scratches on top, the manager wasn't a happy bunny that someone discounted it down so much but still honoured the price :)
